Ok; things are getting closer to the actual closing date ... I spoke to the gentleman today and he says they should have the actual payoff date by Tuesday afternoon ... and that this will all be over by the end of the month and I'll have my $$$$$ and be on my way !!1
I've been spending a lot of time on the internet loking at houses at Realtor.com .... It is amazing the difference in the prices from Florida to Ohio ... Even the insurance and taxes are less up north ....
Well think I will go play in the forums a bit ... Have a great one folks !! :D
 
Well; I did not realize that it had been almost a week since I posted last ..... Sorry about that !!
The guy from the Trust says that we WILL close on the 28th or 29th ...... of this month ; so Happy Valentines Day to me ....
I've got to get an airline ticket for my buddy to come down from Ohio and drive the u haul back with a car carrier behind it ... hope I can get a good airline price ....

I know I worry a lot more than I really should ... BUT; I always believe that something will go wrong somehow and then when it is all over, I finally relax ....
There is not too much that can go wrong here , or so i don't think ... unless it would be the appraisal (IF they even are doing one ) no one has mentioned it and yet, we have a closing date ... lol ...
I've got everything crossed that I possibly can ... and then some ... I was even trying to get the dogs legs crossed; but he did not like that ..lol ...
It looks like I have set a new bar for real estate in this area .... but; I got the $189,000 that I was asking ; so I'm not complaining ... of course, after the mortgage is paid of, closing cost, FHA fees that I am required to pay for the buyer by law .... I will have just over/under $35,000 ... that should be enough to get a u-Haul, get us to Ohio , rent a storage space .. and get a motel a few weeks until I can make a nice down payment on a house .. and get moved .. etc ...
Well ..I'm going to play around and then go to bed ...
DAVID: Hope you get your property rented ..SOON !! It can be a real pain .... waiting ..... :wave:
 
Ok ; I spoke to the Investment Company owner today and the APPRAISAL has been done and was good for the $190,000.00 ; so we WILL have a closing next Thursday or Friday . Yipppiiiii !!
It is like a TON of bricks have been lifted off my shoulders when the guy told me that .... LOL ... Now; do you want to hear something Really interesting ?
Somehow; they did the appraisal without coming into my home , or the back yard .... BUT; I don't care how they did it , to tell the truth ... just as long as I can pick up my check next week and MOVE ... that is all that i am concerned with ....
Then; to make things even better .. I found TWO , three bedroom homes up there that are red brick with two car attached garages , and Florida rooms ... 2-Baths ... for under $100,000 !!! One even has a full basement and is on an acre and a half ... .So; I will probably be getting one of those ....
I just know that I won't be able to sleep tonight .... BUT; I'll probably fall asleep from exhaustion and just being tired ...

Ahhhh right now, I am holding my breath and breating very lightly lest something go wrong ....
I know the guy said EVERYTHING was / is in place .. but being a former Realtor at one time ..I've seen deals get to the Closing and go bad ..... OMG; if that would happen to me, I'd go beserk and probably end up in jail ...lol ....
SO; I am going to THINK POSITIVE and KNOW that this deal is a DONE DEAL and that it WILL CLOSE NEXT WEEK !!! LOL ...
Ya'll have been so supportive and kind , following my problems with this place ... I certainly appreciate it !!
Everything is now packed except the kitchen and the dog's toys .... took him to the vet today for check up, nails done, and his heartworm med ... Then they over charged me ; so I have top go back and get my $5.00 ....
Ok ..well .. I think I am going to look around and see what I can comment on in the forums some more ..then go to bed ...

Ahhhhh Just a few more days .... I'll have my $$$ from this house and be on my way to Ohio and try to get a new home ... Gee, that is LESS than a week !
I won't be posting for awhile after Wednesday as I have to pack up my computer and the few things left ...
The guy who was going to come down and drive the u-Haul and the trailer with my car on it up to Ohio has backed out .... so, it will probably have to be Nick ..I have no one else to do it and don't feel like paying out $4,900 for the move ...
Well ... I need to get to bed earlier , so I will look around on her a little and then hit the sack ...

First; Yes, Nick is back .. BUT; we have seperate rooms and Nothing is going on ... He got kicked out of where he was ..and, I've got a soft heart with a soft brain to match ...
However; it is a good thing that Nick did come back ..I guess . The guy who was going to drive the U-Haul with the trailer carring my car on the back backed out ... It would cost me $5,000 or near that to pay movers .... so, with Nick driving the truck ; it will save me a few $$$$$ .
He also has to get a JOB when we get to Ohio and begin paying back on his account or he is OUT ....
I hate delays .... the guy says that we will be all closed etc by Monday ... I am gong nuts ....

I can't help getting so damm pissed and my nerves are nearly shot ... I just feel like I'm bouncing off the walls ...
The guy calls me Friday and tells me that there is a delay in the FHA papers for some damm reason .... However; he says that he "THINKS" that we will be able to close by Wednesday of this week .....
My main problem is that I am very afraid that I will lose the house up in Ohio that i want so darn much .... It is everything that I want and need .... I couldn't have designed it any better !!
So; I'm going to talk to him and the loan officer on Monday and try to get a DEFINATE day for the closing .... Sure hope it works !!
I'm going to play on here and go to bed .... :mad:
 
Ok .. I don't mean to rant and rave; BUT right about NOW, I can understandhow people go f'n ballistic and begin killing people .
The guy from the Investment Company calls me today to tell me that Finally ... all the paperwork is in and the numbers are ready to close etc .... BUT; we have a "Problem" .... It seems that he cannot locate the actual buyer .... No LIE , I about had a heart attack !!
So; I let him know that he'd better find the guy that signed the contract or I'd use every resource I have , including former "Company" friends ..to locate that guy and I'd take everything he ever gets ..house, cars, kids ..and MORE ... for the rest of his life ....
I've beeen on pins and needles for months now over this ... found my new home that I want so darn badly .... for all of thsi to suddenly happen ...
He was suppose to go over to the buyers home tonight and I told him he'd better stay there until they get home ....
So; he is to call me tomorrow and let me know the status .. I'm hopeing that he'll say that everything is still a GO and we close on friday and I can then move on Tuesday or Wednesday ....
Now; I need to take a pill and get some sleep ... THANKS again to each of you who are following my saga ....

Well ; they located the "BUYER" at last ... it seems he was just an idiot . He moved into his mother's house until this house of mine closes and he gets possesion .... He changed all of his cell phone #'s for some reason and then did not get in touch with the broker, the loan folks, or me ... and no one knew what was going on .... so the finance people closed his loan out .... NOW; we are back and starting all over . The broker says they HOPE to have it all done and closed by the 3rd of April ....
OH ..Thank you David for your caring and concern ... as well as the othersd who have been following this sale for several months now .... seems I always have drama of some sort going on ...
Actually; the delays may be a good sign ... as I've found another house that is better than the one I fell in love with and is less expensive .. BUT; in the same neighborhood ... YEAH !!! It already has a patio, so I would not have to make one myself ...
Well; my diabetes is beginning to stir up ..so I'm taking a shower and going to bed ,., :wave:
 
Well, still NO word or update on anything around here .... I placed a call to the broker this morning ; BUT NO ANSWERE ....

Tomorrow (Later Today) I will send him an e-mail and another phone call ..... Need to get this show on the road .... Three months is more than enough time to wait foa a closing on a house ....

Funny thing is ... I've found another house that actually is a little larger in the SAME neighborhood ... BUT the Gas Budget is less by $20 a month .... and I like it better the way that it is designed ..... and ; it is across the street from my Godaughter's apartment complex ...

Then too ..I found a cheaper truck rental company .. will save about $600 -$800 overall on the move ...by using Budget instead of U-Haul .

Well ...I have not been able to go to a doctor because I had all my medical records sent up to Ohio ...THINKING I was moving ther last month .... so I've been kinda resting ... don't need another heart attack with NO records ...

Ok; Finally there is some news . After all this waiting ; a friend of mine called the broker and pretended to be an attorney . I guess it shoke the guy up; because he called me just five minutes after he got off the phone with my buddy ....
Apparently; the Underwritters want to wait until about May 1st to close because the buyer had went out and opened up a couple of new accounts .... I told him that i did not care IF the buyer purchased the entire starte of Florida . I've been waiting and waiting and now it is time to "Shit or get off the pot " ... I was HOT !!!
He is going to get a hold of the finance officer tomorrow and tell her and TRY to once again get this done at least by the middle of the month ......
Thanks guys for hangin' in there with me .... It has been a long road .... Now; once this gets done , I have no idea as to what I'll blog about .
The good news is that my buddy says he is definately moving in when I get to Ohio , so that will be an extra $400 per month plus groceries etc .....

I don't know where to begin ... I've spent the last two days crying and then as soon as it builds back up ... crying some more .

I go an e-mail from the broker , telling me that the underwritters were not going to approve the buyer of my house after all ... as he opened even more credit ....
That means that I've wasted four months for nothing ! I threw out a tennant and lose $100 a week on rents , My nephew quit his job so there is ANOTHER $100 a week down the drain that I'm NOT getting ... PLUS; I've spent the Tax and Homeowner's Insurance Money to live on as I "Though" the house was sold and going to close ....
Now, the Homeowner's Insurance is past due ...... and I no where to get it .... Have about $50 for the rest of the month now .... because of all this mess .....
I even got rid of the bedroom furniture in the 3rd bedroom as I did not think I'd be needing it ....... not to mention that I have a color tv and an X-Box 360 in pawn ..thinkin g I'd be closing and could get them back .....
Ya' know ... I have no idea what I ever did to be treated like this .... BUT: I must have been a real devil ....
Gotta go ..starting to tear up and can't seee
 
Well; now that I've 1/2 way calmed down and am thinking a little more clearly ... I thought that I'd try posting .
First; THANKS again to david and everyone else for your support and kind thoughts ; even though you are going thru a tough time yourselves ....

Well; I've got the house listed on about Four different Web Sites, 2- Newspapers, and Flyers all over the place .... Hopefully ; someone will see one of them and respond ....

I found one of the old "For Sale" Signs and fixed it up and stuck it out in the front yard .... and am Going to have Open Houses EACH Saturday and Sunday .... until it re sales ....

There is a chance ; but a small one ..that i can make the Broker buy it .... BUt it is a long shot and I am desperaste ; so I'm going to try and put the fear into him ....

I called the guy who owned the house that i wanted up in Ohio ... and he went and sold it to another buyer the next day .

Spoke to my mortgage company who was going to finance me and they dropped the package and said I'll have to re apply ; so there ggoes 5.85% interest .....

Well .... I'm working on the Open House Signs etc ... so I'll go for now .... Take care and THANKS for listening ....

Well, First I want to say Congrats to David for renting his apartment !!! Good Going !!

Well; I am having an Open House here this week end ... and if this doesn't do it ; I'll have another one next week end etc .... until it gets sold or I can get this Broker to come back and buy it like was origionally planned ....

I've given him three days to get back to me or i start sending letters to the Boards of realtors, Better Business Bureau, Cof C, Dept. of Licensing , and several newspapers and TV outlets .... I am Pissed and he is going to feel the brunt of it .....

I've got $18.00 to last me the rest of the month ..so something had better break and SOON ....

One couple did come later this afternoon .and really seemed interested .... kept talking about how they like the security features .... and my screened back porch .... It would be awesome if they would actually buy this place ....

Well, it has been over a month since I was last here ..... Hope everyone is doing well ...
Things are NOT going well . I've not been able to get any satisfaction on the real estate deal .... and am in serious danger of losing my home .....
It seems that IF I had $$$$ to hire an attorney, then I could "possibly" get some justice .... BUT; I am broke and getting More Broke every day .
I've been having Open Houses each and every week end ; BUT ..so far, to not avail ....
I've brought the price down by $15,000 ... and just can't afford to lower it anymore .....
IF I didn't have my li' dog ... who is like my child , to me ... I wouldn't really mind . I could drop the price to about $160,000 and walk away with about $15,000 ... buy another car and get an apartment . BUT; I REFUSE to give up my dog.
So; I've got the house listed on about FIVE websites ... and one ad left in newspaper ... can't afford to place anymore ....
BUT; all things happen for a reason .. so, I am going to believe that everything will work out in due time ....
Well .... I do feel a little better now that I've ranted and raved for a little bit .... lol ...
I KNOW that there are those who are worse off than I am ; BUT .... it doesn't make me feel any beter with my situation ....

Hello Everyone ... It has been over a month since I last posted ... sorry about that .
The house here still has not sold ... BUT; I've taken in two roommates ... Have about 1/4 of the money needed to pay the taxes in November ... and IF they stay and continue to pay ; I should have it all PLUS a little extra ... However; I still am praying for this palce to sell ....
Thank heavens the flooding did not reach me ..this home sets on like a small incline so the water goes down front and especaill in the back yard ... so my neighbors will get any excess water from my yard ...
I've had to go looking for a new vet ... The one I have wanted $70 to stop my dogs itching with a couple of shots ... NO; he does not have fleas , just something about his skin . So; I purchased the benadryl like a 2nd vet told me ... and a $20 bottle of special medicated shampoo and he appears to be doing a little better ....

Ok; I know I've been gone for quite awhile ... lot of Drama in my life right now as well as STILL trying to sell this house ...
I FIRED my no good realtor ! He was like the rest ; they tell you how much your home is worth and then three weeks later ..they want you to lower the price because of the damm market !

I think that the Realtors are the real cause of the decline of housing sales !! They have been minulating the prices and causing it all to be screwed up .... just so they can get a sale here and there ....

Anyway; I'll be placing my own ads this week ..already have it on several Internet sites ....

Somehow; I've GOT to get the rest of the tax $$ together .... I'll owe just at $1,600 and only have $1,000 saved ...

I do hope you are all in good health and doing well ... sorry for rambling about myself first ....
