The thing is, she doesn't choose to promote this side of her. She's sticking to the drunken she-douche gimmick that's been riding for a while.

Maybe she'd gain some credibility if she showed another side of her to the mainstream, but until then, she's not as 'ballsy' as she claims to be.

I had no idea she could sing like that! Not the greatest, but really good! I could be a fan in the future.
I think if she wants to be taken seriously by the industry (I mean, not one single Grammy nomination with all the chart success she had last year says allot) she's going to have to change her image. The only problem is, if she changes her image from partygirl to "serious" songstress, will her fans stay loyal?

It baffles me how so many people on here can hate her, when almost everyone here likes that fucktard Gaga. Their "music" is equally irrelevant, stupid, and pointless. Neither of them has ever had a single point to make or worthwhile thing to say. The difference is, Ke$ha owns up to that, where as Gaga and her fans try desperately, yet unsuccessfully, to act like she has lyrics that have a "message," or are "empowering." I can't stand behind that fuckery, especially when Gaga's voice is BARELY tolerable. Ke$ha may be autotuned, but at least she CAN BE autotuned into sounding listenable.

Hummm, you know what, your righttt.....Your absolutely right... Ive never looked at it this way. You may have won me over. You never hear Kesha fans screaming about how "revolutionary" she is and so on and so fourth, you hear her music in the clubs and people dance to it and that's about it. And in truth that's how ive always only seen her music, as club music, nothing special nothing ground breaking. But with that other bitches music, it could be a steaming pile of shit (her recent single) and they put it on a stick and march to it in a parade. Maybe my righteous hatred for gaga may turn me into a Kesha fan after all.

You mean the "song" whose music is a blatant Madonna ripoff and whose lyrics are less empowering than Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? No, not in full. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. If I wanted to hear an abortion, I'd just go to the clinic down the street.

Those lyrics are an utter atrocity. Made all the worse by the fact that Ke$ha, P!nk, and even the mediocre Katy Perry all had recent songs whose lyrics actually MANAGED to be empowering. Hell, P!nk actually had 2. A bunch of cliches mixed in with a few lines of random nonsense do not an empowering message make, except to people who are more simple-minded than an ape with Down's.

I liked it a lot when I first heard it. Then while in Dallas a week ago, heard it at a club and now it's been stuck in my head ever since. Great dance song.

Gaga did an album (The Fame), an Ep (The Fame Monster), then a remix album. Ke$hmuck followed up her debut (Animal) with an EP (Cannibal) and a remix album.

Gaga said her upcoming single from her new album would be an "OK to be gay" anthem (Born This Way). Ke$hameless hastily cobbles together "We R Who We R", her attempt at a gay anthem.

Ke$htoopid was turned down by Prince, the same dude that gave us Apollonia and Vanity. 'Nuff said.
