I live to close to the ocean not to eat seafood. I also go to Maine a lot and had an uncle who use to trap lobsters for a living.

Dynk, I love and eat lots of seafood, and it is not a matter of how close I am to the ocean. It is just that some things do not like my system, damn food allergies.
But I had cod last night for dinner.

JD. Yes I have shell fish allergies. It is a pisser, I get a wee embarassed when I have to turn down shrimp, and what is worse I love the stuff, but the notion of anaphlactic shock is not so interesting.

Shep, I do not like cod a bit strong for me. I much prefer haddock.

I do like haddock, but most fish tastes good to me. I especially like salmon. And I do like fresh trout, and that was the first fishing I did as a lad when I was about four or five. My father was surprised how much I liked to fish in the trout stream. Walking into the stream in hip boots and feeling the power of a strong stream is still a nice experience to me.

How I wish I could tolerate and enjoy the shellfish as well.
