Our sun has come out and it is nice
Winter is forecast here as very cold but less snow by the Old Farmer's Almanac

^Dynk, it must be gorgeous up where you're in fall with the colors--I've been to Boston, but never in autumn.
I'm too far West and down (Northern Cal) to get any fall colors, although we have coloring trees like liquid-ambar (see pic below) that does turn color in late fall.

The leaves here are gorgeous, especially in Vermont and New Hampshire
we have a lot of maples and oaks
it is a good hard wood for furniture
Elm and pine burn very smoothly
I remember the northwest part of the States was covered with pines
tap them and make maple syrup
Vermont and Quebec Maple Syrup are the best
