Turkey legs are yucky also. I love cornish hens and they cook in one hour and 15 minutes. I made the stuffing yesterday with Italian sausages, a little mashed potato (to hold it together), salt, pepper, cinnamon and clove.

I also baked a mince meat pie

even at Walmart, it'd cost a hundred dollars per meal

you do get what you pay for, though, and the more fresh-from-scratch the better it tastes
 
My meal did not cost that much. The hens were $3.50 each, sausage $3.25 and only half of it used. Veggies were inexpensive, and the mince pie cost me less than $7 to make. Took some time but I had nothing else to do and this is much better tasting than if I would buy it all cooked.
