"Destructive to civilization", indeed.

Given his level of acting "skills" on display in those God-awful (so to speak) "Left Behind" movies, I'd say his destruction of the reputation of American actors is the more salient point.

So, he believes what he believes.

Why ? Who knows. Fame at an early age changes a person forever. Imagine the thought of knowing that there were pictures and posters of you hanging on 10's of thousands of teenagers walls across the nation ! And with that notion, the inescapable fact that both some young women and gay men were most likely "pleasuring themselves" while looking at your image.

I can see how that could completely mess with a person's id and ego.

Someone, somewhere, probably whispered the concept of false idolatry into his ear, and he was shown the Christian light.

Which, I suppose, is fine... Whatever helped his head.

But, to take to the airwaves and denounce other people's "lifestyles" as "destructive" is beyond the pale.

Get over yourself, Kirk, it's over...

Enjoy your life and let others do the same.

This is a constant tactic of hatemongers. They spread their poisonous nonsense and when you defend them and check them for their bullshit they cry hate speach. Victimizers are always trying to play the victim themselves to get sympathy.
