Knife Update / Mall Run /Boi's

For those of you who remembered, I posted a thread last week about a set of Wustof Knives that I purchased off of ebay for $720 which was a substantial savings. Well I finally recieved the package yesterday and was somewhat happy, I was of course suspicious about why I got it for such a great price, so I looked over each knife carefully and then I figured let me go to the Mall to "authenticate" the kinves I have at home. So I went to Macys and The Pampered Chef and asked them to handel their knives (each place they were in a locked case). After a while of handling and examinging them I deemed my knives to be real so now I'm 100% happy. Oh yea and for some reason I picked up 2 bamboo cutting boards that were on sale. I dunno apparently they're the new "hot"thing for kitchens.

Anyway we also stoped by the sporting goods store and for some reason I purchased a semi soft?....... super soft?...... fuck whats the word, let me go check.......... ok AIR SOFT gun. Its like a BB gun that shoots plastic BB's at very high speeds. Well its been alot of fun I've been shooting the target from across all the rooms in my house, and shooting random things outisde, its kinda fun.

Since I was at the mall I certianlly had my fill of cute "long haired" young guys to stare out. You know what I realized, I'm really hooked on the "long hair" thing. When my friend pointed it out ot me I realized my thoughts. Even if the guy's face is ugly, at least if his hair is long enough, we can cover his face with the hair and everyting will be ok.........LoL

I dunno I think I went just about everywhere with this post.
 
Be careful with that pistol. Some look very close to the real thing.

There was a case in Chicago recently when a kid got shot for brandishing a fake gun.

Anyhoo, these knifes, eh. You cook? For $700, I think you must.
 
I never thought about how weird I now seem with the knives and now an air soft bb gun ...... LoL I do sound fucked in the head don't I?
 
Are you going to shoot your dinner and then carve it up and cook it? Did you get any pots and pans while you were out there???

It's sin! Total culinary sin!

Never cut meat on them! Never! It'll absorb the juice and bacteria, + flavour everything cut on with prevouis flavours! And it'll absorb water and soap into the wood, which will then give food a soapy taste. Finally, it'll put small particle of wood itno your food, which can cause irratation!
