When things go wrong, some people always look for someone to blame.

You were very kind and helpful. She should count her blessings.

Why is she bothering you, rather than going to the management? Even if you did have an overflow from your toilet, someone would still have to come out to fix the damage. She makes no sense.

Well its not like you knew and not done on purpose. I think you handled it well and I guess she just must be frustrated with the situation so just give her the benefit of the doubt.

Would you like me to kick her in the balls for you?

i had a similar issue with water coming down into my apt , the lady upstairs toilet overflowed and it was running -- we banged on her door but she had fallen asleep can you belive that , she ended up having to pay for the damage when we finally got her to open her door. i was nice about it and she knew she was at fault but if she hadnt been and it was a pipe i wouldnt have stared at her or questioned it ..

Ahhh but you forget, I like in Minnesota. She was just a nice 40-ish dyke with an LL Bean wardrobe with that air of suspicion that seems prevalent in most women with that haircut....

Wow, I think I'm a bit on edge today....

Man, I've lived in Minnesota all my life, and it doesn't keep me from wanting to tear someone a new asshole when they even seem to be questioning my integrity.

I was getting irritated just imagining being in your shoes.

"Is there something wrong with your face? It's registering a look of disbelief. That may not be your intention, and I wanted to check before I go off on your ass."

Humm...I have a leak above my tub...it's a bit like a waterfall when my upstairs neighbor showers. I've reported it 3 times so far. And yesterday a maintenance man came and looked at the upstairs apartment...still leaking as of this morning.

I'd never go up and tell the neighbor it's their fault....

I totally agree!

Chances are it is more serious than caulking, unfortunately. Water is her ceiling usually means a slow leak.

Good for you for letting you shake your w.c. I think I would have smacked her.

hiya trannie,

don'cha gotta friend what cud apt sit for ya whiles youse is out makin "DO"s to pay the rent? ok, small attempt at humor...this drip will dry up now.

btw just a note...renting can have its advantages as it has been my experience that you don't OWN a house, sadly, it OWNs you.
