Know your license plates

9 out of 15. :( I never see anything but California plates, so sue me!

^ I kinda thought you might get them all Martin.

12/15 here. Only because I don't pay the attention to pl8s that I used to, years ago. There was a time that not only would I have gotten 100% right, but I could have named all the State color schemes (in that given year) without peeking at anything.

Of course that's during a time when it was rare for any state to have more than ONE kind of "normal" license plate.

11 out of 15...

BUT...

I DON'T think the quiz was ACCURATE...

Hmmmmm,,,

True-- that Kentucky plate was too lame-as-shit, and Kentuckians bitched about it enough that they changed the plate to something classier last year.

Also: didn't Georgia get a restyled plate recently?

And: I think that Michigan plate is a specialty or optional plate. Isn't Michigan still white-on-blue? I hope so, cuz I love that scheme.

The Michigan plate in the quiz is the 'Bridge Plate', which cost an extra $10. (We have one on the Volkswagen).

That one is no longer available but has been replaced by the 'Spectacular Peninsulas' plate.

I am cheap and have the default plate on my Van.

The default (read:cheapest) Michigan plate changed last year.

14/15, only because Ohio lies! North Carolina is the birthplace of aviation. Since when did Kitty Hawk move to Ohio? Bastards.

LOL! NC is First in Flight. Ohio is saying the plans and prototypes were developed in the Wrights Dayton Ohio bicycle shop. BTW 15/15...Who missed "Famous Potatoes"!!
