Hasn't opened here yet, it was filmed in my hometown so I might check it out.

"So you're telling me this'll make me forget(or at least forgive) his last 5 bombs?"

I saw the Flick last night....Well...It was better than that Flop "Next"..."Knowing" was suspenseful and it kept you on the edge wanting to see how it all ends...I don't see where there were unanswered questions...If you're viewing the film from a biblical sense then the ending will make sense..."Lucinda" & the black stones will drum up conversation with movie-goers..

I agree SEVERAL of Nick's films over the years have been terrible..."Knowing" is worth the admission price and a Box of popcorn. Nick looks like he's 100yrs old in the face...I think he's in his 40's but the dude looks old..

If you decide to wait for the DVD or HBO to feature the film then you will not feel cheated...It's time for Nick to do some Dramatic Films. The Sci-Fi/Adventure market is not his strong-suit...

i didnt like it, just another run of the mill end of the wrld movie..nothin special

I do not want to give anything away if someone wants to see the movie but hasn't yet. All I will say is it seemed to have conflicting themes in it. I do not (nor have I ever) think that Nick Cage can act his way out of a hat. He has a tendency to over do it. Talking about overdone......what about the train crash, that went on....and on.....and on............that train seemed to crash thru half of New York. lol...

Nicholas Cage is apparently on speed dial for any end-of-world-causing code-breaking. Nice to know we've got one if we need one, I guess.

I loved the show...until the last 15 minutes. It ruined it for me! I couldn't get past Cage's excuse for acting; it was terrible.

The show had some serious potential, but was a serious let down.

I just watched this movie. EXCELLENT! This movie surpassed my expectations by a mile. I wish You guys wouldn't spoil the end for those who haven't seen it. Check this movie out!

It WAS a truly horrible movie. The CGI flames at the plane crash were the worst. LOL---at one point, Cage's character was walking through the wreakage....with his hands in the air "trying to act" like OMG, whats happening.......and one hand goes right THRU the CGI flames, and he doesn't even notice.
The movie also could not decide whether it was a movie about faith, or a sci-fi movie........

And BTW----how long does it TAKE for a train to crash.......BAM, BAM, BAM, BANG, BAM, BANG,......hell, if you look carefully, the train even turns a corner while crashing!

Ok I just saw this movie and it was awesome! It had both alien and biblical references that seemed to contradict each other, but I liked it! I think the writers were trying to blurr the line between biblical prophecy and biological advancement. The ending is very surprising and disturbing. If you're an Atheist (as I am), or a Christian (as are most) , I don't think you'll be offended by this film.

There were a few unanswered questions, but I think it was intentional. After the movie, I noticed a look of sadness on the faces of many people. It's definately not for the faint at heart.....I give it 4 out of 5 stars!

**See the trailer on youtube**

Thanks NeoSlacker for the review...I'll check it out today and let you know how I liked it. ;)
