Those type of guys probably prefer emo/scene bands, the kind you would find on the Warped Tour. Lady Gaga sells too well to only appeal to that small of a demographic. I'm a fan and I'm about as far away from that description as you can get.

Or maybe just has better things to do than soak up "culture" all the time.

I don't watch TV much, and get by quite fine. I don't listen to the radio unless I'm with someone who wants to, and my ears are probably better for it. I don't subscribe to a newspaper, and the sort of magazines I get don't stoop to culture gossip. I can't afford to go to bars just now, so...

where would I learn about her?

And why should I care, when up until the weather turned I had beaches, rivers, forests, lakes, and more to revel in?

I had the exact same experience. I was a little over it at first, but I've been playing the song over and over for the past 30 minutes. (!)

Lots of straight guys I know like poppy music like that. They'll sing along to it because it's catchy music that's always on the radio but I don't know of any that will go out and buy her music and things of that nature.

I consider myself pretty masculine. I'm not the biker type at all, but consider myself to be pretty masculine.

I like Lady Gaga.

Nice to be lumped in with my favorite group of Gays, the Queens, though (sarcasm).

Starstruck is actually really good, as well. I like it better than Poker Face, to be honest.

Actually, I'm not really sure I know any guys who like her. I showed a video to my friends and they thought it was cool, but I really can't see them listening to her. I have heard them listen to much "gayer" artists though.

haha, I love it. I listen to David Guetta on repeat when I lift. That's kinda like lady gaga.
