I think the dancing fits with the type of song it is, and Lady Gaga isn't known for keeping things traditional and normal

I like the choreography in the video better than live..though of course, they can't do as many things on stage as in the video

Really love this song. The best thing about Gaga is how different all her songs are. Alejandro just shows her venturing into a new genre.

Anyone else think the beat sounds a lot like late Ace of Base??

I read the lyrics in the digital booklet that comes when you buy it on itunes. I think it has to do with a controlling boyfriend who smokes her cigarettes and tries to control her like he's her dad. love this song!

I always thought the same thing... A bit of Ace of Base mixed with some ABBA. But I think it just also makes me think of ABBA because of the "Fernando" parts lol

My friend just sent me The Fame Monster and I am putting in my Ipod now. I'm touch and go with GaGa. I love some songs and not liking others.

I always find that at first, and then I listen to them all enough that I find something to love about all of them...horray for being a Gaga groupie! lol

I am so excited.

The Grammys said they might bend the rules for Gaga.

I am so excited for her. It shows that the Grammy committee recognizes excellence and true talent and knows that she should be recognized.

They broke the rules for Lauryn Hill so i am crossing my fingers and my penis that they break the rules for Gaga too.

There is precedent for this.

In 1997 Lauryn Hill not only got nominated for Grammys but she won multiple Grammys with the Fugees.

Then 2 years later in 1999 they gave Lauryn Hill the Grammy for Best new artists over the Dixie Chicks and Backstreet Boys.


So if they really love someone and think they are worthy they do break the rules.

I believe in justice and fair is fair.

You cant have one set of rules for some people and another set of rules for others. Either you enforce the rule all the time or not at all.

Awarding Gaga Best New Artist will make up for Britney not winning in 2000. I am still not over that.

I love this CD! I could do without Speechless though. It doesn't fit at all. I like these songs better than a lot of the songs on her original CD. Monster is really fun.
