Proof that she doesn't just talk the talk... Her definition of "fighting for LGBT rights" clearly consists of more than simply watching reruns of Will & Grace. This girl loves us.

Jayden has a point... If you remember the whole reason Perez Hilton got busted in the face by will.i.am's manager was because he called him a faggot.

If she is so wonderful to pour a drink on some homophobe why the double standard of palling around with someone who uses the same foul language...

So stand up up for her all you want but from my point of view she looks like a hypocrite. Which to me doesn't make her all that great ... as a matter of fact it makes her worse and nothing but a publicity whore.

That's fine that everyone has friends with differing opinions. True enough.

But when you come down on one person and then accept the same thing from someone you're close to it makes you a hypocrite.

And Perez may or may not have said it to will.i.am but he says it often on his website. Hence why Mrs. Shepard rejected his offer to give his winnings from his case to her charity.

Either way, she can make her stand for us and we can applaud her for that... but until she tells Perez to stop using the same language she still is a hypocrite.

Oh wait because splashing a drink in someones face publicly so that people can see she can make a fierce statement is one thing .... but telling a blogger who speaks highly of you at every turn to not use the same hateful language wouldn't garner you any attention.

She stood up on the white house lawn so that all her gay followers could see she that she stood by them in their crusade against hatred and bigotry...(good on her)

She publicly splashed a drink on a hateful homophobe to make a point that she doesn't accept that language especially about her friends (again, good on her)

But why isn't she making a statement about Perez and all his hate speech? Could it be that he also fuels her publicity machine and she doesn't want to ruin that considering how many gay people visit his site?

And I don't care if his gay, he has no right to call anyone that ...especially in such a hateful tone and used as a derogatory epitaph
