It's refreshing that for once we get a 40+ guy who not only doesn't throw shade at GaGa but actually loves her.

EOG is my jam.

However for all her impact on music and such, I do think that her greatest legacy as a human being will be her ACTIVE activism on behalf of the gay community.

Why do interviews in the UK are always so good and funny but the American ones are always lame and focus on the same repetitive and over-talked subjects? One of the best interviews in a while.

And that performance is what the shit she did on Ellen should have been. Real instruments, not a loud playback, and focusing on singing and hitting the right notes not so much on dancing (she danced pretty good, she shouldn't have to do all the steps and sing well instead, like she did)

Well, apart from her music, which I fucking love...she has my respect for her vocal, unwavering and passionate stance on gay rights.

I haven't seen a star at her level do that before. Ever. Not at that top of their fame. She is easily alienating and upsetting a lot of her straight fans and doesn't give a shit.

And she has changed the music industry. For me now it takes more than a typical diva. You have to match her now. You have to prove to me that you deserve my admiration. Prove that you see as as more than just a meal ticket. Looking or acting like a diva and quietly "kinda" acting like they support us just isn't cutting it for me anymore.

And you also need talent. Which she has plenty of.

P.S. I think a huge percentage of her fans are gays over 35.

But you're right, GaGa will deservedly earn her place as a gay icon. Sometimes I even feel like she is like mother figure for us.

All those other ¨divas¨ may tweet here and there some half hearted gay rights support, but GaGa puts her all into it, and for that I will love her forever.

She's always said she doesn't have a boyfriend or relationship, which isn't really a lie, she's never said she doesn't fuck with hot guys (in fact, she's said that she does it all the time), for some reason all radio stations blew up this time talking about it. She just doesn't talk about him.

Maybe she's just trying to say her love life shouldn't really matter, and to be honest I, personally, don't give a shit. She's smart and old enough to know who she's with.
