LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the album!!!!! So far favorite songs are Government Hooker, Judas, and Electric Chapel. The German song is probably the most fun in my opinion!

She has really outdone herself this time!!! :)

The DJs on the radio this morning were making bets on how many copies it would sell in its first week...none of them said below 800k. Went as high as 1.6m.

I'm just happy that pretty much any track on the album can become a single - it's that good. Which means the longevity/shelf-life of this album will go until at least the end of 2012.

Scheiße is so good. :D

She has no musical identity and that's an issue, especially when she's professing to be so avant-garde and groundbreaking. In my opinion she doesn't need a musical identity. When you hear her name, you know who she is, she's THAT big now. I think her album is great. She did a lot of exploring, and played around with all her options. I can see why some people don't like it. I think it's a hate it or love it album. Personally, I love it. I love her vocals, and I love the melodies. I do agree it's a bit all over the place, in the sense that there are too many elements per song. However, the songs ARE cohesive. It's extremely cohesive.

I would think she did it that way so everyone can feel related to at least one song in the album, no matter the age. Or can you seriously imagine a 10-year-old singing Government Hooker or Heavy Metal Lover? The most clear example is Hair, it's very cheesy, corny uplifting song and cheerful and not everyone likes that but it's cause it wasn't meant to target that audience.

I bought it yesterday but I'm only going to listen to it now (!)

She was at the Union Square Best Buy in NYC, that's where I wanted to buy the album but the store was already closed because of her

I agree totally with Ephemeral and J-23

Edge of Glory, and Judas got me excited for the album

Out of the album tracks the only one I can get with is Scheibe and that is because it has that rigid (Barely) song structure that I am obsessed with


Love game, Monster, Just Dance, Summer boy, Like it rough and poker face all had defined structures

You can call it "Bland" or "predictable"

Her typical bridge rap/Breakdown she did for all of her songs but what I call that is listenable.

Electric Chapel, marry the night and that Fashion-Whatever bonus track just show the chaotic nature of the album

Americano by far perpetuates this senseless talking/yelling while the chorus itself has no impact.

That actually sums up my feeling on the album, no impact.

People love it though. Good for her.

Not gonna lie though Hair and Edge of Glory make me want to jump around till I bleed
