Good in an arty, disaffected-sort-of-way. A seeing Thomas Haden Church's naked butt was a bonus!

Across The Universe. This was an amazing film released last year - not sure why I took so long to watch it but I finally did today and I certainly was not disappointed. Great story - Unbelievable visuals - Incredible interpretation and performances of Beatles songs. What more could a movie/music lover ask for? Definitely a 9/10. Attached are two of my favorite musical scenes (and yes that is U2's Bono in the second one)...

I Want You/She's So Heavy

I Am A Walrus

29th & Gay. Reasonable attempt at gay comedy/drama. Story focuses on a gay fellow, James, who is about to turn 30 and is not quite happy about where he is in life - generally and especially romantically.

I would say it was OK - funny scenes here and there but overall pretty average... I give it a 6 out of 10.

I'd say 6/10 is about right. It was sweet and I liked the story around a schlubby guy.

Thanks operafan... Cool to see someone agree with me.... Movie was fine considering that they probably did not have much of a budget to work with.... And yes I agree - definitely a sweet story focused on a not-so typical leading man.....

"Love and Other Disasters". Sweet romantic comedy with Brittany Murphy in the lead. This film is certainly no artistic masterpiece but I found it thoroughly entertaining - I especially loved the eccentric characters in this one. Directed by the guy that did Madonna's "Truth Or Dare". I'll give this a 7.5/10.

Here is a trailer:

Indiana Jones/Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

it was not as good as the older ones

Tan Lines -- it is really a downer -- an Aussie film about a lost group of kids

Relax...It's Just Sex

Thought it was good -- and Jennifer Tilley was great -- although it was a little odd that the main character of the film disappared for the last third only to come back. Still, definitely worth a watch.
