I have it on now, it is 2 hours long and boring for the first 15 minutes so far, I will shut it off soon if it does not pick up
 
Well, ... me and the boyfriend do (a minimum) a double feature on Saturday nights. We love the scary, cheesy stuff... great snuggle material. Here's how last night went down.

It Came From Outer Space (1953)

What can I say? When the bf took it out of the Netflix pac and rolled his eyes at me... I knew I was in trouble. A half hour later, we had a good Sci-Fi story, enough cheese to make lasagna... gave us the mandatory "you'd better be nice to your aliens and your planet or we'll kick your ass' and yes, we liked it. It was in Black and White, had all the corny special effects, but (surprisingly) had a descent story.

Quarantine (2008)

I'll start by saying, if you like the filming of 'Cloverfield', this is your kind of movie.

The first hour really had me hooked... the rest? Not so much. They could have done so much more with the story and the ending (while it left you with enough to figure out what happened) just didn't do it for me.

I'd give it a 3 outta 5.
 
Eve of Destruction.

A low budget sci-fi about a female robot running amok. Its actually pretty decent.
