Supernatural.

Dean is so pretty.

This is my favourite "The Outer Limits" episode from the original monochrome 1963 television series. Martin Landau plays the role of a mutant attempting to change history. The plot is sublime, the dialogue inspirational, and Martin Landau at his very best as the hero, cast to represent the hesitant romantic condemned to...never having been born. Worth 50 minutes of your time for those seeking satisfying entertainment in the realm of the dreamer.

Ghosted, terrible really.

Same with People Of Earth.

One of the most notable features of "The Outer Limits" is its capacity to entrance its audience with thoughts that transport us beyond the stars, to realms that entice the most desperate of people to dream, and to visualise a better life remote from the drab day, to day existence that many are condemned to live through want of hope.

This episode presents the viewer with the prospect of a "second chance" to realise their aspirations, providing they trust their conductor:

This 1960 made "The Twilight Zone" episode enters into the realm of superficial appearances.
Well written, and tastefully presented, with film noir style lighting effects to enhance a sense of mystery.
Nearly my favourite Zone episode, with the last scene illustrating that beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder.

Yesterday, Vikings.

Today, Gardeners´ World. We found out there´s a shrub that smells like candy in fall. We didn´t catch its name, but we think it´s the Katsura Tree.
