Was pretty disappointed with it, specially with what I felt were the useless subplots that weren't even in the book. But since this was something the syfy channel was doing I was going in with pretty low expectations anyway.

I started watching the X-Files on Blu-ray. I'm still on season 1 and so I can't give a complete overview on how the series holds up considering that the High Definition upgrade was done by a company that got a lot of flack for the remastering of Star Trek: The Next Generation season 2.
But from what I have seen so far, it looks pretty good. Even some of the effects sequences look alright... I don't think they look like they upresed or anything. Its in widescreen and looks amazing considering how crappy the DVDs look in comparison. I am pleased for the moment.
BTW, David's got some shirtless scenes and boy did I forget how hot he was. He wears quite a bit of suits and slacks, some scenes in particular appear to show some floppage going on.
