Well, it's turning into a cold and miserable day here. The snow we were supposed to get is ice instead -UGH!
The appliance repair guy was just here and informed me the problem isn't in my new dryer, but rather my vent hose -which is my landlord's responsibility to replace. The landlord was here last week and told me he wouldn't work on the vent until the spring. At least now I have a signed statement saying the vent needs replaced -maybe that will get his lazy butt working.
The smell of pot roast is driving me crazy. I put one in the slow cooker early this morning. It still has about 6 hours to go before it's ready. And this time I made it without slicing any digits off!
The last time I made pot roast, it ended with a $1000.03 ER visit...
Okay, off we go to dig out the landlord's number to complain. If this doesn't get the problem fixed; I'll call in the big dogs, the fire marshall. His daughter is a student of mine. I'm sure a major fine and inspections of all the properties would get the problem fixed quickly...
