Well i registered my projector the day i got it with Infocus. But the reason they said it wasn't covered by warranty was an error in there database. After sending them the 2nd email with my invoce from Computer geeks, and a link to the product on there website. They changed there mind.
Here's the copys of the Email
Hello Travis,
Thank you for contacting InFocus Technical Support.
In response to your query regarding No power, I would suggest you to send the projector for factory repair, as you have tried all the possible troubleshoot steps.
I have checked the database and it shows the warranty of the projector has already been expired.
However, I suggest you to send your projector for a non-warranty factory repair.
As the projector is out of it’s warranty period, you will be charged for this service and the charges would be $379 + Applicable taxes and $30 for shipping.
Please fill in your Credit card details in the form, which is attached with this email. Fax back to us with the appropriate payment information. Once we have received your payment information, your repair request will be processed and you will get another email with the return instructions.
