^ I mean, really....

How much more evidence do you Fox "news" lovers need ?

Ever so slowly, and piece by piece, their bubble of disinformation and flat out lies is falling apart.

I'm shocked.

Shocked I say.

This was covered a couple of years ago.

What exactly did they do? Telling the truth is bad?

Unless they're talking about something like a hurricane, or some new discovery of an animal species in a cave in Azerbaijan, I generally assume that they're lying or bending facts to fit their agenda.

No, this simply isn't true. This was doctored. Fox news is fair and balanced and tells the truth.

Always. Everyone else is wrong.

*snap*

What's actual news? Watching Bill O'Reilly? I don't watch American news stations.

Try watching Al Jazeera or BBC...

As I expected. You only watch FNC on places that criticize it. Watch the actual station for a while -- you might be surprised.

I love these types of threads where people are pronouncing that FOX News is biased and has an agenda ... as if it is some great revelation.

The joke though is that everyone knows news organizations are biased and have agendas in this day and age. So why act like it is some big revelation?

Older Americans by and large watch FOX because they know the channel represents its beliefs ... and FOX simply reinforces their preconceived notions by writing segments in such a way that speaks to those preconceived beliefs so that it reinforces their opinions.

Even when proof of bias or agenda-setting are shown, do we expect either FOX or the viewers to change what they do on a daily basis? FOX will simply shrug it off and the viewers will simply ignore it.

The greatest misconception opponents of FOX have is that the viewers of FOX are "in the middle" of the spectrum and are being lied to by FOX. Rest assured, it is the other way around.

The viewers know exactly what they are watching and that is the way want it. They want their egos and beliefs tailored to, and FOX simply gives it to them.

Another faux watcher of Fox News. Look at the real thing -- not someone else's opinion of it.

Why? It wouldn't tell us any more than this does:

Akre v Fox

Where, for fairness and balance, five major news organizations filed briefs supporting Fox.

Spot on....

YAWN...Every news outlet has an editorial bias, some just hide it better for others. Fox wears it on its sleeve and then even makes a joke of it with the Fair and Balanced tag line.
