Left-wing MSNBC host Ed Schultz: "I'm not voting in the midterms"

If Maddow has any dignity whatsoever, she will apologize for her disgusting smear piece againt O'Reilly. Here's an example of Maddow cherry picking O'Reilly's talking points memo in order to make him look like a racist. She edited out major portions of O'Reilly's opening remarks, completely changing the meaning of his words. What O'Reilly was actually commenting about was a Gallup survey just released Tuesday with the title, "Blacks and Whites Continue to Differ Sharply on Obama." By the end of his "Memo," he was even crediting Obama with being "well intentioned."

(END VIDEO CLIP of Maddow's heavily edited version)

Here is the full transcript in complete context. The text in bold is what Maddow conviently decided to edit out. The text in red are the excerpts which Maddow cut out and pasted together.

Yeah, real scary Rachel. Regardless of the facts, Maddow and her fellow dishonest cowards completely edited the context of the video thereby dramatically altering what O'Reilly said. Isn't that just as bad as what the anonymous person that sent the excerpted Sherrod video to Andrew Breitbart did? I don't expect any of her fans here to actually condemn her dishonesty.
I'm more in agreement than disagreement with you on most issues though at times you do come off as too strident and talking pointed. That's why while I do hang around because I love politics it's kind of useless with the selective indignation on both sides here to post all that often.Rachel is a much more likable person than her big ego male colleagues at MSNBC-DNC,and at times makes spot on points against the right but she is driving an agenda too.In fact,O'Reilly is a pussycat compared to her most unhinged colleague,Mr. Olbermann.

Johann,

As I noted in other posts, I won't be bothered responding to Laika's or Coolkid's Output Only post strategy and strident defense of Rupert Murdoch's cynical and manipulative finger puppets.

While I am not ignoring their posts, after the crash and burn of yesterday, when we have them arguing that gay marriage will lead to bestiality and incest, it is no longer possible to assume that they are interested in an engagement of opinions and ideas and information. It is no longer possible to view them as credible posters. They are almost as unidimensional as the hit and run Justapixel, even, in Laika's case, trolling their own threads.

I believe that besides the many who put them on ignore as of yesterday, the best approach for those interested in making CE&P a more interesting and accessible forum is to not reply to their posts but to the general issue.

Anyone who watches the O'Reilly tape will make up their own mind. Those who want to tongue punch his fart box will think he is being unfairly maligned.

Those who perceive a systemic and subtle pattern of racism by a news network with only 1.8% african american viewers will see something else.
