Oh my gosh you are not the only one. I cant wait for her to perform on AI because the majority of America doesnt really know who Leona is and most of America seems to tune into AI so i am just excited for her because when 42 million people tune in and hear her voice, OH MY GOSH, it is going to be somthing to behold.


I want her to sing something that allows her hit the higest note and hold it, like ALL BY MYSELF or something from the new album.


I really like this chick and i hope America welcomes her and her talent.


The second after i heard her on youtube i came here and started this thread, instant fan right here.

I saw her singing 'Summertime' over at some Idol forum I go to and they had a poll to see if people liked her version or Fantasia's version better. Been hooked every since!

I have no doubt she will be huge!

Ooh..I just read that she's going to include a cover of 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' on her album Spirit! It is bound to be amazing!

I didn't want to like her new single because it's not really what i'd normally listen to but I was blown away at how beautiful it was. I'll be getting it for my ipod me thinks.

WOW!!! this song is great.. and her voice is AMAZING!!! she surely showed those guys trying to win that competition how it should be done!! ha, bet they are feeling alittle intimated now.. ! they have alot to live up too!!

I have to say, I found her kind of boring. I couldn't listen to Over the Rainbow. I Will Love You was okay... still kind of boring and flat on the high notes (which I can forgive if you're really selling the song). Nice voice, but nothing special in my opinion.

Here is a video of her performing 'Bleeding Love' live on some radio show. She always said she would never record a song she couldn't do acoustically and now I know why!

The album reviews have not been kind :(.


They all agree that she has a great voice but they also say having a voice is only part of the equation and say that her voice has no personality.


Anyways i am still hoping for the best where her career is concerned.


Oh they also said that since she had all the top writers and producers and Clive Davis in her camp that they expected more from her debut.


I still think that they should have just done a cover album, that way Americans would be able to hear the voice and get used to her and then she could come with original material afterwards.

She is good and I like her, but I was rooting for Ray Quinn. I watched x factor via you tube and fell in love with him!

I've heard her entire album and was really impressed! It is an amazing album! My only problem is there are very few upbeat songs. Other than that, one of my favorite albums!

Omg the album is flat out amazing! I've had the pleasure of hearing the entire thing and it is amazing! One of the best voices of all time! But it's not like she's oversinging over the place!

My only problem is I wish there were a couple more dance tracks. But most of the ballads are mid-tempo so it's not syrupy ballads through and through. It's actually one of my favorite cds! I can't wait to buy it!
