Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

At first, I didn't like it, but it's starting to grow on me. She looks beautiful in the video.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

I think it will go To no. 1...it might..

wishful thinking. she should have went top 5 after her digital sales so since she didnt crack top 5 i think she has peeked, unless she gets alot more airplay.

yeah....maybe...but you never know...lol

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

I think "Bleeding Love" sounds good enough as a single as opposed to that song by Usher that's been at #1 for a couple weeks now on the Billboard Hot 100...I can understand he's a big star and all which would explain the massive airplay and sales, but c'mon, I think it just sounds like a song that's only good enough to fill up the album.

Leona Lewis isn't as well known a celebrity and a superstar as Usher is here in the U.S., so that could explain why she isn't getting as much airplay, but you could spread the word about that U.K. beauty and request for "Bleeding Love" on the radio and ask other people too...it just might climb all the way up to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

I have no doubt Leona will be Number 1! People have to realize that she's a new artist. She doesn't have the fan base that Mariah, Usher and them have yet.

Give her some time!

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

NUMBER ONE IN THE U.S.!

Congrats Leona!

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

G'day
You know what? F*** the haters. Leona is one of the most talented singers of our time. No one and I repeat no one can step up to her vocal talents. As much as I love Mariah her time has come and gone. Her voice isn't half what it use to be. Here's Leona singing live. Now look at this video and tell me that isn't proper amazing. She has a god given talent. She doesn't need computers to make her voice sound great. I wish her all the success in the world.
Bleeding Love

Better In Time

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

Shes amazing. Bleeding Love is such a ridiculously addicting song. Have been listening to it almost nonstop for the past week. Again... she is amazing.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

Oh wow I knew she could do it! Can't wait for the album here in the States!!!!

Billboard.com:

Already a chart-topper in her native U.K., Leona Lewis scores her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with "Bleeding Love," which zooms 8-1. She's the first female to take her inaugural single to the top of this tally since Fergie's "London Bridge" in 2006.

"Bleeding Love" is also No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs after selling 219,000 downloads, up 82%.

GO LEONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

I AM HAPPY FOR HER

Re: Introducing Leona Lewis

I'm sooo excited that she has finally reached Number 1!

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

^I doubt that. Mariah and Madonna just released their songs on Itunes and are currently the Number 1 and 2 songs. Leona needs a ton more airplay to stay at Number 1.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

Well Leona got to number one based on sales so thats good. She is developing a fan base in America.

Her American Idol performance will showcase her to America.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

It looks like they are holding off of the whistle note until American Idol. She includes the whistle note in every performance in every other country except for US.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

Yes i saw her on Oprah and there was no high note.

America needs to hear her entire jaw dropping range so that she debuts number 1 on the albums charts.

I feel they should have made her do at least 2 cover songs on the album like she did on X Factor. I dont know why they arent showcasing her vocals.

It was her X Factor performances that made me a fan. Bleeding Love is cool but i need my highnotes.

Re: Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love: Yes or No?

I’ve heard Mariah do her Minnie Riperton high notes through the years, now I’d love to hear Leona's! Let’s hope she’ll show ‘em off on American Idol!

22-year-old Leona Lewis is the only solo pop female recording artist from the UK who scored a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 since Sheena Easton over 25 years ago with “Morning Train (9 to 5)” in the year 1981…Leona Lewis wasn’t even born yet.

“Bleeding Love” would be the signature song of Leona Lewis if she doesn’t have any more hits here in the future, but I hope she has more hits to come, I ’d love to hear more from that pop princess!
