I am officially a homeowner! I have my own home now!

You can get back to your lives. Thanks so much for reading! :)

The best part about living alone: you only have to get dressed when you leave the house.

Oh, and when you cook bacon!

Anyhoo, congrats and enjoy!

Very good news,Taiga!Congrats and good fortune on the purchase of your new home!:D

Congrats on your new home TaigaStar. ..|

I live alone, but I very seldom leave the house and, as I'm a vegetarian, I never cook bacon, therefore*... :gogirl:

Taiga, I present to you this lovely lamp for your front room window!

Congratulations my friend!

^^^ Umm, he may not want to scare the neighbours just yet. =]

Congrats! There is nothing like knowing that every mortgage payment goes to reducing your debt. Unlike Rent which just reduces someone elses debt!

In just a few years my house has doubled in value. I look back and weep at all the rent I paid in the past that I have nothing to show for.

Oh and you get the joy of knowing you can do anything you want to your house!

YAAA! :)

Why? It's a perfectly good lamp. :(
I'm not debating that, but if that's the first thing I saw when someone just moved in, it'd get me thinking:

Lock up the kids. Where's the dog??

and in case you're wondering, i'm being facetious

Congratulations TaigaStar on your new purchase.........Enjoy your new home

Well if his neighbors take offence, then they suck and don't deserve to be Tiaga's neighbors!

It's a good thing you clarified that. I was just about to lob a defunct Russian satellite in your general direction. The damn thing was already in a deteriorating orbit. ;)

Congratulations and welcome to the ranks of homeowners! There really is nothing like owning your own home. Now comes the real fun part. KEEPING it!! Be cautious not to run out and go on a spending spree to fix it up and decorating...unless you have a bottomless pit of money. You will want to. Now that you have closed and own the home, be prepared to receive the flood of credit offers that will begin to appear in your mailbox. Go slow and easy. Start a small "house fund" for yourself in a separate bank account. Put a few bucks in there when you can and don;t touch it. Being a homeowner now, the buck stops with you, not the landlord. Owning a home means that there is ALWAYS something that will need to be fixed or repaired and the ball is in your court and that little "house fund" will come in handy for emergencies....like one day you wake up and the water heater has died overnight....or the garage door opener has opened for the last time...or the ice maker in the frig just dropped its last cube.

Apart from that, enjoy the magnitude of the moment. It is a tremendous achievement. Welcome to the wonderful world of EQUITY and TAX DEDUCTIONS!!!! (!)

¡¡¡¡FELICITACIÓNES!!!!
the pianist is right. you need a housewarming - and please invite all of us, OK?? in fact, maybe the pianist could play some at the party.
if you look in my gallery, you'll see our house - one of several over the years.
This is just another reason to be a PROUD gay, guy.

Thanks for all the well-wishing, guys! I've started doing some things, but I need to paint and then I'm having the carpets replaced (they're kind of icky). I spent the night there last night (I'm living between here and there for the next month) and it was so nice to be able to do things (like jerk off) and not worry about being walked in on or anything. I just wish I had internet already.

And the lamp is perfect!
