I'd say that a disagreement or grudge goes bad when you let them get under your skin to the point that you are willing to emotionally or physically hurt them. And the same can be said for the flipside of the arguement, and when they start trying to hurt you. It's ok to hold a small grudge or disagree about something, but it's important to handle the situation like an adult. Which includes, trying to patch it up!
