Level the playing field: the Bank On Students Loan Fairness Act

When exactly was all of this happening? Because today MOST students in the mainstream fields have either small or no scholarships, at least to begin with.

There are Americans who will not go to college because they did not receive a scholarship. "Arts" are not somthing we need so badly we should be brushing aside Americans for, marginal difference in test results to contrary not withstanding.

Yeah rolyo!!! It's all your fault for being so qualified and all!

Lol

Just because you haven't had a brush with the arts in your life doesn't make them not important, sweetheart :) And the money for my scholarship come from a pool of money for MUSIC students. So yeah, you're talking through your ass without any idea of the subject as usual.

"Arts" was your word. With 320 or so million Americans, it makes no sense to brush our people aside, and give scholarships to nonAmericans.

Because let's be honest, they are mediocre students at best who strolled through high school and expected everything on a silver platter. If you aren't getting any scholarships to attend a specific college, you are already in the bottom section of said school and shouldn't be attending said school if you can't afford it.

If public schools stopped coddling its teens and for once told them that they sucked instead of giving everyone a ribbon, they may actually get their butts in gear and accomplish something instead of being relegated to their parent's basement destitute.

The only thing that makes sense is to give the money to the best candidates, regardless of nationality. That's how quality rises. Otherwise the school suffers, and after it - the field those students go into. [Text: Removed]

I'm sorry, that's simply not my experience, having spent my last four years in a university.

Now you know how the white immigrants felt when the came to America to make a better life for themselves, without thinking or caring about its effect upon the Native Americans they were pushing aside.

Ooooh, poor Benvolio. You worried that stronger, better, more advanced people are going to replace you?

You're about to fall between the two chairs you're about to sit on. Either you are FOR the European invasion in America that led to the creation of the US, or you're against it. Can't have it both ways.

I was remembering your criticism of Americans because they came here without regard to they adverse effect upon previous inhabitants. Current immigrants are similarly indifferent to, actually hostile to Americans as they vote for higher taxes on Americans.

By that standard, a majority of Americans are also hostile to Americans.

Bottom Line
The majority of Americans believe that money and wealth in the U.S. should be more evenly distributed, and a slight majority support the idea of the government helping to achieve that goal by "heavy" taxes on the rich.

Majority in U.S. Want Wealth More Evenly Distributed

By that standard, a majority of Americans are also hostile to Americans.
Yes. A majority are hostile to other Americans, and again, 47% of filers pay no taxes and another huge segment do not file. Meanwhile 47% receive some form of welfare, not including Social Security and Medicare. The Democrat Party teaches them to hate the people who do pay the taxes.

Yeah, remember that one time where your candidate lost the election because of this ridiculous 47% bullshit? If there was any substance to it, it would be out there. There wasn't, so it wasn't. You don't even know what you are trying to hate on here - freeloaders, immigrants, international students, lazy students, greedy students, liberals? You're so unfocused it's becoming boring...

Again, you must be at a lower-tier private college that makes a profit off of its own students mediocrity when an in-state public college would provide an equal education for under half the price. This resounds my analysis that it is fucking moronic to attend a public school in a state you are not a resident of because your tuition is jacked up because of said cost whereas someone from that state pays far less than you for the same education.

I will come public and admit that I went to Bentley University for undergrad and Northeastern for graduate. Pray tell me what accolades your uni has achieved to warrant its tuition cost? I guarantee you are being swindled by a for-profit private college and won't admit to it.

You make assumptions without information. I am currently in a low level college because I needed a base of operations in Chicago. However, I spent three years in Indiana university which is a very high level university and the music school is both among the best in the country and is THE largest. So yeah, keep guessing. I'm sorry that facts so far don't match the agape you want to stick them in.
