Levi Johnston Running For Mayor - Interview

As you may know Levi Johnston is now running for the mayor of Wasilla. He was on Lawrence O'Donnell's new MSNBC TV show "Last Word", where he gave his first national interview for mayor.

He answered the questions better than Sarah Palin did on those exact same ones, but she was running for Veep, while Levi is only running for mayor.

Look, politics has always been, in some regard the theater of the absurd, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets at least a good showing at the ballot booth.

Does it matter ? Of course not. Is it political fodder in this ridiculous election season we find ourselves in ? Of course.

a town of 3000 people? its a popularity contest at best, and people will be working hard to be on his good side to get on the show.

I would vote for him. I think the kid has potential. Yes, he's a redneck, born into a redneck life. But now that he's started to travel, see both the US and the world, and has shown the ability to change his mind and see the world for what it is, not what he was [strike]inbred[/strike] born into as "normal". Normal people don't have drug dealers for mothers. Normal people don't live in Alaska. (I haven't met any normal people from Alaska and I've met 20 or 30.) Normal people don't take stances that his baby granny takes.

Alaska elected one also that served half a term as Governor of Alaska. Money seduced her away and she resigned. The Texas town's elected mule had more brains and honesty anyway.
