There is no general and universal rule in this regard.

Some dudes choose to come out and that's good so.

The others choose to keep their stuff to themselves and there is nothing wrong with it either.

I'm actually semi in the closet myself. I found it easy to come out to my parents. I dunno if "come out" is even the right word. I'm only bi, after all, and I still find I'm mostly attracted to girls (which I told them). But even so, I only told my close family. Haven't told alot of my friends and intend to keep it that way.

I mentioned this in an earlier post. I'm out according to some, just not in your face I'm out. My life is nobody's business other than my bf. If nobody can not connect the dots, that's not my problem.

I consider myself bi-curious and I've decided to stay closeted because I think it's no one elses business what I prefer or decide to do personally (unless it was a spouse or someone I confided in). The message boards can still be considered discreet because it's a large community of like minds, and I'm comfortable with that. It's the rest of the world that urks me...
