Interesting. I had a more positive reaction. :-) I thought the movie was excellent.
I'm pretty tired of the 3D craze, especially wearing those stupid glasses over my own glasses, lol. But in this case I thought it was the best use of 3D in a movie I've seen yet. :D

Agreed. Many critics said this is the best 3D use in a movie they had ever seen. That flying fish scene, oh my gosh.

Both Thor (2011) and Prometheus (2012) had better 3D.

It was still more enjoyable for me than the 3D in Life of Pi. Maybe it was because fast fluttering creatures don't work well for me in 3D and there was the humming bird and the flying fish in Life of Pi.
