Siiigh. It barely even makes sense. That woman needs to get her shit together and focus on the area she's actually got some bankable talent in: the acting. I Know Who Killed Me sucked, true, but I really dont' think she's a bad actor. Just a messed up person who can't find anything but bad/mediocre movies.
Her singing was never very good. She's kind of atonal. And the lyrics, like the very presence of the song, barely make sense (you get the general theme, but not so much why they're put together the way they are).

What the hell was up with that interlude where she's just trailing off like she forgot her lyrics and had to ad lib?

Even if she's an average singer, this hardly utilized those capabilities.

ok obviously not the best of singers in the world...i don't even know If i'd categorize this as singing...but....this song gets stuck in my head really easily....lol......now i'm gonna go run and hide in shame

I liked two of her songs (rumours and confessions of a broken heart).... and I could like that song if it didn't show how limited her singing ability is.

She should make a mean girls sequel :)

True. I guess her acting talent was more apparent when she was a child actor, since she could handle more demanding roles fairly easily and with some sense of believability. Then it seemed like it was still there in Mean Girls.

Then she just stopped taking it seriously and no one is really considering her for anything. No work, Lindsay.

I love LL!!! Not the best song but her albums are really good. I know shes not the best singer but I can relate to some of the lyrics. My fave song by her is Black Hole!!!

Such overproduced trash. She's worse than Britney Spears by far.

Seriously, her voice is awful. The fact that the song is called "Bossy" makes it more annoying because the "Bossy" song by Kelis was actually passable. This SUCKS! Even if it was someone else's voice, it would still suck because the production is crap and lyrics are stupid as hell. Britney could NOT make a comeback single with this song either.

Not a threat. I honestly just think the wrong name is attached to it. If that exact song, that exact performance, had Britney Spears picture plastered on it instead of Lindsey's, this thread would be four times as long, full of dancing bananas and "it's Britney, bitch!"es.

It's the singer, not the song. Even when it isn't the singer.

I thought "Gimme More" or "Piece of Me" was that big comeback for Britney...or at least as much of it that's going to come.

I listened to this a second time to refresh my memory...Gods, what a mistake. It's reminiscent of Ashlee Simpson in terms of stupid lala lyrics and feel...and it's like Ashlee did it better. Yuck. I've got to say it again, that interlude about atmosphere and shining is AWFUL.

^Because Ashlee did do it better. The lyrics made no sense, she was doctored beyond belief, but somehow it was so much less ANNOYING. This is largely in part to the fact that Ashlee's music moved around a lot more. There were high and low notes and some really basic chords, as opposed to Lindsay One Note and the "nn-tss" background noise.

Ashley is also hotter and has that cute, dumb, blonde innocence about her. Lindsey comes off as those slutty, stuck up girls in high school who wouldn't give you a second look and girls who go out and party every day and get drugged up aren't attractive to me.
