This is not a post to download her album.

Her sophomore cd, Eye Legacy, will hit stores January 27th.

I just want to show her some love with these two videos.

The 1st a trailer for the album:

The second the first single, Let's Just Do It [Feat. Missy Elliot and TLC]:

Ah yes I've heard about this! I've been listening to "Lets Just Do It" for a while now...glad to see the album has a date and all! I'm very interested to see whats released on this record!

Interesting that a Biggie and Left Eye album both being released this month...but I'm excited either way!

Hey marley...

I believe she's had a page for quite some time now.

Some are fan operated though... The one above is the official one.

Gotta keep memories alive, ya know?

marley I understand...

But for me it's different... When I hear someone like her or Aaliyah has something new out or on the way I get excited.

Not piss-my-pants excited, but I like these things.

Monetary means/agenda aside people still like to hear this.

Had she been alive today the record company would use her and pit her up to the next female rapper/singer just to line their pockets.

Interesting. Hadn't heard about this, Left Eye's upcoming album. Just heard the single, via the MySpace link listed above: hot track!

Aw man! I miss Left Eye to this very day, and she was a musical genius with the songs like "Waterfalls". I don't know how I feel about unreleased music being released posthumous as well. Although I'm not going to lie that "Don't Know What to Tell Ya" by Aaliyah was straight fire, and it is unfortunate that she didn't release it before she passed.

I can't wait to buy the album.

I miss TLC!

Also can't wait for Chilli's Bi-Polar album to come out too.

Meanwhile isn't T-Boz on the new Celebrity Apprentice??

Yes, T-Boz is on the show.

I don't even know what is going on with Chilli and Bi-Polar. She sure is taking her time with it.

Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes - Let's Just Do It........is available on iTunes today! :D

This is great news. I have been such a big fan of hers and TLC. I miss them so much. RIP Left Eye.

Then again, that beats the polar opposite, when great artists die and their work is kept in a vault and the music they worked so hard for goes unheard by their fans.

Sometimes I wonder what unheard recordings exist of people like Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley and Aaliyah, etc...

And that's why I feel I need to give them a chance. Rather their work go unheard forever or people still enjoy it after the owner is gone. If these people were alive they'd be putting other peoples kids through college, so the after-life while it does suck to exploit, it's still the same game.

Glad you like it. Did you check out any of the others?

Do remember, Kayman, That song was released as a single overseas. We got that single released here as well but only on vinyl.

I remember back around the time the album I Care 4 U people was upset that this wasn't released here in the states. {Memories}

^^ IDK, I guess Chili's album is turning out to be just as Bi-Polar as she wanted it to be...

No offense to the Bi-Polars, because I am one.

And Missy... wow, good question she's play'n the background to a lot of ladies' foreground
but she probably got some shit up her sleeve.

LMAO lefteye looks just like my sister in that pic
For some reason I know lisa isnt really dead
her spirit is still here with us

Did y'all see the documentary on her a few years passed...?

They chronicled everything down to her last minutes alive.

That was kinda hard to watch.

daniel, that documentary was dead on, no pun intended.

It was her taking her own footage and everything...

I love how free spirited she was, she never let anyone take that away from her. Not TLC, manager, nobody.

That documentary was so sad and the ending was just surreal. That's a must-see for any TLC fans.
