I actually thought it was terribly weak. I never really liked LB anyway even when it first came out but at least it normally gets some laughs. I don't think it's the fact it's an American version i think the general format just got tired ages ago.

I wasn't impressed with the first episode. Some new sketches were okay but others were just cringe-worthy. I'll watch it again, but it's not something I'll work around.

The problem with British sketch shows like LB, The Catherine Tate Show and The League of Gentlemen, is that they do the same characters almost every week. If you really like the character, it doesn't get old, but, if you don't, it's a sketch you have to endure (sometimes painfully) until one you like comes on.

I think LB USA has done pretty well. They've kept enough of the old characters (transported to the US) and the British voiceover narration, and yet added some funny American characters as well.

My partner and I were on the phone on Halloween when he begins to crack up laughing and I'm like "What?" and he says "A girl dressed as Vicky Pollard just walked by me". I thought it was a very original costume. Love Little Brittan.

I agree. LB got milked to death here, I dont like it that much but the laugh track killed it even more...

I doubt the HBO show will last very long. Its one thing to say that most Americans don't get British humor, but the show isn't even that funny to begin with.

I'd much rather Tracey Ullman come back to HBO.

Season Finale ? already?


It was a so so season for me


The premier was consistently hilarious.

Subsequent episodes fell off the mark for me and were intermitently funny.


The season finale? It didnt go out with a bang but i did LOL at least 4 times.
