They were Jewish, one could not expect a city like that from anything but sand. Town of what in that Middle-Of-Nowhere where there were not even Jewish people anymore one hundred years ago? They wouldn't built that on old sacred ruins of something, either.

That's my experience too! It stayed alive for years, but never got any bigger nor produced a stem.

My aunt and uncle in southern California had two pineapple plants they said got started that way.

I forgot to add the other day: "spotted for the first time" because, previously, only its chanting had been recorded in the Galician area of Nortwestern Spain.

The brown eggs I get have thicker shells and the yolks are less runny. To me, that makes better sunny-side-up fried eggs, and fewer cracked and broken shells when making hard-boiled, and better overall.
