Well that`s a legend... he sold several in his earlier days as commisioned work, pictures of Den Haag, also sold a portrait (man with mustache).
His brother traded in some of Vincent´s paintings with other dealers or artists, selling the exchanged ones.
All in all he sold very few, barely survived only with the help of his brother.
Nowadays his works fetch huge money, that is how it goes, he isn`t the only genius who died in poverty.
