This movie has the stupidest name in the world and I only rented it because I heard it has some Oscar buzz -

it is not one of the best movies of all time, but I really recommend it - it was so totally different than what I expected, it was really funny, nothing was remotely predictable and I am not going to give any of th surprises away but it is like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in that there is something to think about as you watch things you never saw before, or imagined, and it was so funny -

and best use of the song Super Freak ever!

Man, I was just looking at that in the video store tonight and I was afraid to rent it because I thought I might be stupid instead of creative.

i remember when i watched it, i left the theatre thinking, that was a good movie...but now, it dont remember it well.

Sorry, I didn't see it (still don't) -

but this thread here might get some more folks to see it - we owe it that film to get people to see it (despite its really dumb turn-off title)!

I am not a fan of Steve Carell but he was so great - really cool performance.

But then, what performance of the main six characters wasn't exquisite?

I am glad I rented it - I debated, thought it might be dumb, had a few other dvds in mind, but the clerk was short tempered (perhaps having to work on Christmas) so I just grabbed it - nice gift to myself!

I watched it last night it is an amazing movie!! It is the first time in a long time that I actually burst out laughing while watching a movie. I also cried there are some very touching moments. Overall just a fantastic movie!!!

ran into a friend today who got it for Christmas - he told me it was filmed from every angle, all cameras running at the same time, so each actor had to stay in character in frame and out of frame essentially, which is why it plays so marvelously, they had lots of great shots to choose from in editing
