Norman Lear is doing another two-for of All In The Family and Good Times (after the success of All in The Family and The Jeffersons) that aired several months ago.

I just saw a commerical that says Kevin Bacon is Pinkie so that has to be Pinkie Peterson who always pulled pranks on Archie (the mongoose in the box at Kelsie's bar; the prostitute that Archie has to get revenge on Pinkie but it backfired). And I just saw another clip where Archie tries to fool Pinkie when Archie asks drag queen Beverly La Salle to meet Pinkie. Archie thinks he will fool Pinkie but Beverly and Pinkie know each other if I remember right.

I was just writing 'my JUB twin' and I thought it would be the prostitute epsiode but I hope it is the Beverly epsiode which means they will have someone playing Beverly. That would be fun.

I like these remakes of episodes they have done. I hope they do more.

Do you have any other tv shows you would like to see re-made as Norman Lear is doing with his shows?

Beverly asks Archie is there anyone he can think of anyone he would like to invite. Archie thinks this is his chance to get back at Pinkie Peterson for the prank Pinkie pulled on Archie

- 22:43 Beverly's reveal
- 20:05 Pinkie tells Archie that he is falling for Beverly
- 21:20 Pinkie lets Archie know that he knows Beverly is a guy

Good Times Live

ABC has revealed a mighty impressive cast for its live staging of Good Times, which will air as part of the second, holiday-themed edition of Live in Front of a Studio Audience on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 8/7c. Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Andre Braugher and How to Get Away With Murder‘s Viola Davis will lead the ensemble as marrieds James and Florida Evans, while Saturday Night Live vet Jay Pharoah will assume the “dyn-o-mite!” role of eldest son J.J.

Rounding out the cast are Asante Blackk (This Is Us, When They See Us) as Michael, Corinne “Daughter of Jamie” Foxx (Beat Shazam) as Thelma, Tiffany Haddish (Kids Say the Darndest Things) as next-door neighbor Willona Woods and Jharrel Jerome (When They See Us) in an as-yet-specified role. Meanwhile, Anthony Anderson (black-ish) and legendary vocalist Patti LaBelle (who was recently revealed to be The Masked Singer‘s Flower) will perform the sitcom’s beloved theme song.

WILL JANET JACKSON SHOW UP AS PENNY?

As previously reported, Woody Harrelson, Marisa Tomei, Ellie Kemper and Ike Barinholtz will reprise their respective roles as Archie, Edith, Gloria and “Meathead” in the All in the Family portion of the broadcast. They will be joined by new cast members Kevin Bacon (The Following), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) and Justina Machado (One Day at a Time), whose roles are being kept under wraps until air.

I had the idea to look up the number of episodes Pinky Peterson was in, and how many episodes Willona Woods was in Good Times to guess which they may do. She was in 133 episodes so who knows what episode it will be. Pinky is in three episodes, which were . .

B]Episode 7x08: Beverly Rides Again (Nov 6, 1976)[/B]
Episode 7x15: The Draft Dodger (Dec 25, 1976)
Episode 9x07: Archie's Other Wife (Nov 5, 1978) Because the other characters arent seen much in this episode because it focuses on Archie in a hotel during a convention, I think Beverly will be the episode they choose. The Draft Dodger was a bit of a downer so I dont think they will do that one
