What do people have against Madonna making political statements? Everything she says is true. What is everyone so irritated about? I personally find her a political HERO after viewing the original American Life Music Video and the bashing of the republican party. And Why Does She Need a muzzle? Her views are very true. America is filled with so much white trash such as George Bush it's unreal. She has a right to be angry... thats why she took her family out of the country. Something about being a talentless embarrassment to the music industry that wriggles around on stage in a wedding dress sorta comes as the expense of credibility.

Many were confused on the meaning Of Madonna's Music video for American Life. Due to my research on interviews.. I think this was the most artistic piece of propaganda ever done.
The music video depicts many things.
1.Clips show spoiled teens using drugs, drinking, being punks, and not having a clue about the world in general. Also from further comment from Madonna which i agree with, It seems we are so greedy and rely on material items. We want more and more. It's something many of us are guilty of. People in third world countries struggle so much more.. but they know how to be much happier people. Sure there is good and bad in everyone and everywhere.. but this is a general statement. We are the fattest country.. have the worst parenting, we care so little about what we do to the ecosystem, well the republicans can care less. As Madonna sings, "AAaaaa-Merican Life.. I Live The American Dream, You Are, THe best thing i've seen." Meaning if she lives the way the average american is.. that achieving the american dream is so simple now that you think about it. Being a stoned white trash redneck in a trailer is the American dream as they raise their beer and scream WE LOVE BUSH. When you are the best thing she's seen.. its all there is. This is the American dream we fight for.. how pathetic.
2.The video shows George Bush smiling and lighting a gernade and then indirectly making a subliminal message that he had everything to do with 9/11. It shows Americans laughing and enjoying themselves as they watch children in the middle east screaming and dying in blood. Thinking it has nothing to do with them and that its all a joke and to just worry about their own life. Madonna spoke that she wanted all the people in the video to wear Shirts with an elephant on them... and then she comes in a military outfit...shooting them all.. instead she comes in a big jeep and starts screaming really loud as machine guns and rifles start firing like crazy. You hear screaming in the crowd. So same thing but edited heavily. (The elephant is the Republican symbol.)
3.Madonna asked the question.. why are we having this war? People say its good for economy... well the republicans say it is.. but have they done their research.. or do they listen to what TV and their "Ma" said? This war is KILLING our economy.. you want this economy to go further and further into being indebt? To calculate how much has been spent on this war.. they say estimated every American owns thousands! Do they vote based on something trivial cuz others may be voting for them that they know? As offensive as the video may be... it is still her freedom of Speech! Something that many American forget what this country is founded on. But is the original American lost? To what we have become?
And remember to vote for Obama.... Bush has been openly against Gay marriage and gay rights.. something you should all know.. and we know McCain will continue to be as ignorant.. and continue to take our money and scare us into using the "national security threat that there are weapons." Do You have gay pride? Don't tell me you do.. and to be a traitor. Bush vetoed the HAte crime law for gays. Do you want more 18-19 yr olds coming home in boxes?

^Madonna is an icon, yes. But talented? Not necessarily. She sells cuz she's cute and blonde and says provocative things about sex and politics. She's like a messenger with no message, but nobody cares cuz she has a nice rack. Madonna has no business in politics.
I certainly am not defending Palin. But what is particularly interesting is that Madonna doesn't even live in the U.S. I doubt she is a registered voter. I don't see how she could be with her primary residence being in London. And as expensive as those tickets were, It's likely that roughly half of her fans in the audience didn't want to hear her get political.
Madonna's 15 minutes have been up for twenty years or so. I have never been able to fathom why anybody gives a shit about any of her political pronouncements. She knows nothing.
