Kevin Sessums interviewed Taylor for a cover story for POZ, an American magazine dedicated to AIDS activism. It was then the actress reportedly let him in on a secret about Dean, a close friend of hers.

"I loved Jimmy. I'm going to tell you something, but it's off the record until I die. OK? When Jimmy was 11 and his mother passed away, he began to be molested by his minister," she revealed to Sessums, who was sworn to secrecy.

"I think that haunted him the rest of his life. In fact, I know it did," she said of her friend. "We talked about it a lot. During 'Giant' we'd stay up nights and talk and talk, and that was one of the things he confessed to me."

I still love watching Giant whenever it runs on TV.

I do love watching old movies. I will watch them over and over. I ALWAYS watched TCM until they went to a pay channel that my basic cable didn't offer. I miss TCM. I have a few Giant poster reproductions I have framed. I read Hudson and Dean didn't get a long. Maybe it was due to Dean turning him down? Can't imagine anyone turning Rock down! Bet that never happened to him before! Was probably a huge blow to his ego. Rock was sexy as fuck though. I find it interesting this info on Dean was released after her death. Wonder what else is out there? Anyone see that documentary a few years ago where it claimed Dean had a gay friend he turned down and the friend told Dean something like, "I am gonna get you (sexual wise)"? Then after Dean's death the friend snuck in through a window at the coroners and had sex with his corpse? The guy said Dean was so messed up that it traumatized the guy who did it. Wonder if that's true?! That's some story! Yuck!
