So Flynn has been charged with lying to the FBI....which sounds like a pretty good deal for him to turn on TrumpCo.

I'm honestly surprised that he is charged at all....but I guess even Mueller wasn't going to let him walk away scot free in exchange for his testimony.

The charges below.

https://www.axios.com/read-the-charges-against-michael-flynn-2514065136.html

Now we have a good idea why Trump has been shitting his pants all week.

Now that we know how innocuous Flynn’s misstatements were, Trump should pardon him.

Yes give him taste of his own medicine Lock Him Him but lock him up with Bubby.

He will never see jail for lies about innocent matters.

Fuck jail, straight to the firing squad.

I thought he lied about the truth.

The charge is that he asked Russia not to escalate a response to sanctions and Russia said the would moderate. And he asked Russia to delay a vote on or defeat a pending UN resolution.
These are innocuous and harmless or even helpful, if not innocent.
Then he supposedly lied about them.
But, if so, he lied about harmless matters. He is unlikely to see jail time for it.
It is possible the conversations were a violation of the Logan Act, but no one has ever been prosecuted for that. It just gives Mueller a way to extort testimony harmful to Trump.

Ok, let's not lose our heads. The charges have nothing to do with the election. Flynn contacted foreign countries as the incoming national security advisor in December 2016. All incoming national security advisors do that...it's their job. He lied about his contact with the Russian ambassador and he'll be punished accordingly. Still no proof of Russian collusion with the election. It's over. She lost.

Poor Toby, sitting along the wall in his best party dress, right beside Mikey...

What the right wingers here are trying to miss is that this charge and guilty plea was negotiated.....it is who Flynn gave up in return for the plea deal that is the real story.

He's been turned.

And the nooses are tightening.

" One thing is clear: Mueller charged Flynn with the most innocuous lies he could to shield from the public—and far more importantly, from President Trump and his allies (at least for now)—the extent of what Flynn has told him. A longer charging document would reveal too much." -Seth Abramson
Seth Abramson is a lawyer

a real lawyer

LOL Notice that we both called the lies “innocuous”. Pardoning Flynn would end the extortion.

Since he agrees with me down to the exact word, he must be a real lawyer
