Am I the only one who finds it suspicious that "blunt force trauma to the torso" has been ruled the accidental source of death? It says a lot that there's apparently NO investigation. Was "Big Orange Small Hands" at the same location at the time?

If somebody tumbles down the stairs, isn't it usually blunt force elsewhere (especially the head) or a broken neck, that usually kills?

The NY Post article says he's a med student at NIH, and he's "taken", but it doesn't say why he has a front row seat at the Jan 6 hearing. Maybe he is with Matthews or something? The badge he is wearing says "Witness Access".

The other one I've noticed is the guy in the blue tie to the right of Matthews. He has been at every hearing. My guess is he is one of tech guys because I've seen him helping with microphones and the video screens etc. While not the Clark Kent type the other guy is, I've found him to be quite adorable.

Lastly, did anyone notice Pottinger's eyes? His eyes were red and his pupils dilated. Looks like he was on something.

I wonder if the officer screamed as he was being assaulted.... by... ???tourists??? who are being charged with low level misdemeanor trespassing and interference offenses.... for breaking into the capitol with weapons and destroying property and attempting to lynch the VP to overturn an election. But good thing it wasn't BLM protestors or things really could've gotten out of hand.

Right-wing media is sometimes referred to as "Earth 2" by critics. It is a very strange place... with "alternative facts", disinformation and smoke screens.

The Jan 6th hearings seems to be inducing panic in the right-wing media outlets, causing them to accelerating their disinformation attempts. They seem to be getting more worried that the hearings are pinning the insurrection on Trump (and Fox evening hosts like Hannity).

They're trying a new tactic: blame it on Ray Epps.

Who is Ray Epps? He's a former basketball player who was captured on video telling other rioters that they should "Go into the Capitol".

The alt-right is now accusing Epps of being an FBI agent and the mastermind behind the events of Jan 6th.

The latest distraction attempt is working its way through the right-wing media outlets. It was mentioned in the nightly conspiracy ruminations of Tucker Carlson on Fox. The lunatic caucus members like Thomas Massie are Tweeting about it. Right wing "consultants" and agitators like Alex Bruesewitz are Tweeting about it. YouTubers are making videos mentioning Epps' name.

Meanwhile, Mr Epps is looking like a deer-in-the-headlights wondering how it is that he went from being an insurrectionist to being the target of the alternative facts and conspiracy machine.

When Ray Epps, now 61, arrived in Washington DC in early January, 2021, he believed he was answering the call of his president.

Mr Epps was one of the thousands of MAGA loyalists who believed former President Donald Trump's lie that the 2020 election had been stolen. He also thought he and a throng of conservative allies would protest the election's certification.

The night before the Capitol riot on Jan 6, Mr Epps told a crowd of fellow Trump supporters that they should enter the Capitol. This exchange was caught on video. He did not call for violence, and later claimed that he was encouraging a peaceful protest inside the building.

Nearly 900 people have been arrested for their participation in the failed insurrection that occurred the following day. Though Mr Epps is not among that number, he has nonetheless become the focus of a MAGA-world conspiracy theory placing the blame for the entire debacle squarely on his shoulders...

After the conspiracy theory picked up steam, Mr Epps began receiving death threats and even had intruders trespass on his property. According to Mr Epps, those individuals approached him and demanded to know the "truth" about his supposed involvement with the FBI.

There's two thing that are troublesome about the Ray Epps example: it's scape-goating/deflection and it's using social media for terrorizing a private citizen. Both are Trump tactics that are being adopted by other groups. It's normalized.

When we saw this happen to Kathy Griffin back in May, 2017, it was a template. Mr Epps is not innocent- he was a Trumper and he was at the insurrection. But to go from a Trumper to being accused of inciting the whole riot in order to hide and distract from Trump's misdeeds? Sheesh.

I'm just waiting for someone to connect Epps to the Georgia Guidestones.
