Lockdown at the US Capitol

This guy is on the run, disappearing the day before his sentencing.

Which is crazy...WTF is he not in custody already?

What was his bail set at? or did he get the all-too-common "no cash bail" deal and just walked free?

He's a Federal detainee, not a State-level felon. Worrell was convicted in Federal Court in DC of assaulting federal officers because he pepper-sprayed Capitol Police on Jan 6th. Worrell is also a member of the Proud Boys and, of course, is a resident of Florida.

Worrell was being held in the DC jail.

Remember these clowns who were holding press conferences at the DC jail demanding "Justice for J6"?

Worrell was one of the detainees that MTG, Butthead, Gohmert and company were demanding justice for. Worrell has non-Hodgkins lymphoma and acquired COVID-19 while in jail. He was released on house arrest for compassionate grounds to seek treatment for his lymphoma.

Then he didn't show up for his sentencing.

In spite of his illness and treatment, Worrell weighs 280 pounds. He should be easy to spot.

I knew a guy who got sick and tired of the shenanigans pulled by his probation officer and decided to run. I think it was about three years later that he came back, and he gave two reasons: first, he had heard via the grapevine that the jerk of a P.O. had been transferred out to a different department (having been caught planting evidence and lying in court), but also because living on the run was miserable.
So I hope this slimeball finds out just how miserable life can be for a few months before they catch him.

He got caught planting evidence and committing perjury and all that happened was that he got transferred? Not transferred to state prison? *%%*

"Thin Blue Line".

John Eastman has surrendered and is being booked at Fulton County Jail. He has nine charges in this case.

He had to postpone his disbarment hearing for this.

How the mighty fall.

Proud Boys leader Joe Biggs just got 17 years in prison. The government had asked for 33 years. Biggs then plead for mercy from the court saying that he had a young child. However, evidence seems to suggest that he loved Inmate P01135809 more than his child.

A leader of the Proud Boys who led the far-right organization’s infamous march to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison – among the longest sentences handed down yet for a convicted rioter.

Joe Biggs was convicted by a Washington, DC jury of several charges including seditious conspiracy for attempting to forcibly prevent the peaceful transfer of power from then-President Donald Trump to Joe Biden after the 2020 election...

Another defendant, Zachary Rehl, is also being sentenced today. The government has asked for 30 years for him. Rehl denied under oath that he had sprayed police with pepper spray, saying that he "didn't recall". A group of internet sleuths who have been reviewing Jan 6th camera footage found a video of Rehl using pepper spray.

Jury selection began in December, and the trial got underway in January. As Rehl testified this week, federal prosecutors presented video evidence that they suggested showed he using pepper spray against police officers on the western front of the U.S. Capitol during the attack, although the government has not explicitly charged him with it.

An assistant U.S. attorney asked Rehl on cross-examination Tuesday whether he pepper-sprayed officers.

"Not that I recall," Rehl said.

He also told the world that his daughter had been raped, so he had to stay out to be with her.

Way to go, Dad of the year, if that actually happened, no doubt she's thrilled her trauma is the subject of public national discourse.

I wouldn't put it past him to lie like that, using his child as a prop, but if it actually happened and he used her like that, well that's just as huge a violation.

What a slimeball. I read his crocodile tears for a bit, until I felt nauseated and looked away, feeling like I needed a shower.

They are all sniveliing cowards at the end of the day...willing to say anything to get out of responsibility for their actions. Every one of these douchenozzles figured they would be at the top of the foodchain because there was no way their putsch could fail.

And when it did, they all use their family as human shields.

In spite of the acknowledged perjury, Zachary Rehl received 15 years in prison. That was half of what the government requested. Rehl was remorseful at trial. Hopefully, other Proud Boys will heed the words and learn the FAFO lesson that Trump is not worth sitting in a Federal prison cell for most of the rest of their lives.

Rehl pepper sprayed Capitol Police officers. From the previous article: 🤦‍♂️
When prosecutors displayed images that appeared to show him pepper-spraying officers, Rehl at first said he wasn't sure whether it was him and then suggested that if it was him, perhaps he was holding a recording device.

A prosecutor asked him whether recording devices have liquid streams coming out of them, and Rehl claimed he didn't see any stream in the video.

Proud Boy Zachary Rehl was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison after being convicted of leading an inflamed mob toward the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 election results.

Addressing the court Thursday, the former Philadelphia Proud Boys chapter president said he let politics consume his life, causing him to “lose track of who and what mattered most.”

Jan 6., he said, was a “despicable day.”

“I’m done with politics, done with peddling lies for other people who don’t care about me,” Rehl said, taking breaks from speaking to wipe his tears and catch his breath.

There's an amazing group of dedicated people who have crowd sourced tracking down these criminals and hounding the FBI to arrest them. If not for these unpaid volunteers, many of the insurrectionists who attacked police, broke into the Capitol and caused the injuries to many uniformed officers.

If you want to follow along with the fun:

This is a pretty fascinating story and it's not from Florida for a change. It's from Texas, of course.

The Munn Family, Tom, Dawn and their 8 children, claimed that they moved from Wisconsin to Texas because their Wisconsin schools added transgender bathrooms. Turns out that the Munns had embezzled $200,000 from Tom's elderly father in Wisconsin and then fled to Texas.

They had rented a house in Wisconsin that they didn't pay rent on. When their landlord filed to evict them, they held a yard sale to sell off items from the rental house that were owned by the landlord. They did $21,000 in damage to the rental house before finally vacating.

Upon their move to Texas, the Munns posted on social media about the conspiracy theories: 5G cell towers, the "New World Order", "the border", "the gays" and how Trump was their savior.

The Munns were some of the insurrectionists who broke into the Capitol on Jan 6th. They were identified from social media, indicted and charged.

After they were charged, the Munns opened a GiveSendGo (the same Christian "GoFundMe" where Jenna Ellis is fundraising for her legal defense) and collected $33,000. The Munns went to DC, pleaded guilty, claimed that the 2020 election "was stolen" and were given fairly light sentences. The DOJ had not bothered to investigate the Munns criminal past, which could have been uncovered with a credit report.

The Munns are considered to be heroes in the MAGA and Christian White Nationalist communities. They portray themselves as victims and patriots who were just exercising their free speech rights.

And these are the people that Marj the mouth thinks should be pardoned. Although I think she's actually asking for a friend.

Another one today. Proud Boy Dominic "Spazzolini" Pezzola of New York was sentenced to 10 years in Federal prison. Pezzola received a longer sentence since he was involved in the assault on Capitol Police.

Spazz (as his friends refer to him), a former marine. had members of his family in the courtroom to testify before his sentencing. In his defense, in asking for a lighter sentence, his wife referred to him as "a fucking idiot". His daughter testified that it was because of her father that she was in college, prompting sobs from Spazz at the defense table.

After he was sentenced and the judge had left the courtroom, Spazz raised his arms and shouted, "Trump won!".

The Proud Boy who smashed through a window to the US Capitol with a police riot shield on January 6, 2021, allowing the first wave of rioters to storm the building as members of Congress were being evacuated was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison.

Images of Dominic Pezzola, nicknamed “Spazzolini,” using the police riot shield to first breach the Capitol building quickly became a symbol of the violence that day...

Pezzola, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, addressed the court during Friday’s hearing, while his wife, mother, daughter and a friend who served with him in the military sat in the courtroom.

“I need to extend my sincere apology to Officer Ode,” Pezzola said, “and if he were here, I would look him in the eyes an apologize for all the grief I caused him.” Pezzola also apologized to his wife and children and the country, adding that “the events of J6 have crumbled the reputation of the nation I served in the Marine corps.”

Busy day in court in DC. Ethan Nordeen, age 30, of Washington State, will spend 18 years in Federal prison. Nordeen, who used the alias Rufio Panman, is a violent criminal. As a member of the Proud Boys, he was a organizer, promoter and instigator on Jan 6th.

A one-time leader in the Proud Boys far-right extremist group has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, tying the record for the longest sentence in the attack.

Ethan Nordean was one of several members convicted of spearheading an attack on the U.S. Capitol to try to prevent the peaceful transfer of power from Donald Trump to Joe Biden after the 2020 presidential election.

Nordean was “the undisputed leader on the ground on Jan 6,” said prosecutor Jason McCullough. Prosecutors had asked the judge to sentence the Seattle-area chapter president to 27 years.

Sedition Trackers has matched another one of the Jan 6th rioters to a current Trump campaign staffer.

Dylan Quattrucci, the current deputy director of Donald Trump's 2024 campaign in New Hampshire was matched to one of the rioters who posted a series of videos showing him at the Capitol telling the Capitol Police officers that they should kill themselves (Back the Blue!). Among the expletive laden things that Dylan is recorded saying is, ""If you are a police officer and are going to abide by unconstitutional bullshit, I want you to do me a favor right now and go hang yourself, because you’re a piece of shit. Go fuck yourself."

Here's a picture of Dylan at the Stop the Steal rally in front of the then Trump International Hotel in DC.
