The more I watch the show, the more I hate certain characters (Matt Barker, Dean, the ugly one that tried out for Saw and didn't get the part, Juan, Ian) and the more I love certain people (Phillip, Jake, Ish, and that really flamboyant one with the blonde hair).

I'd love to be on the show. Oh. I remember taking up for a one of the guys on the show (I thought they were being really mean to him) but I just saw another show that he was on and man, what a bitch.

Philip annoys the fucking shit out of me. Last season, when AJ asked the panel what they would change about themselves, if they could pick one thing, Philip said some shit like, "I wouldn't change a thing. I love everything about myself." I guess it's possibly true but, to me, it reeked of bullshit. What obese person wouldn't want to drop just a few lbs.- even if not for body image but just for health reasons?

The question asking which reality show "the person on your right" would be on was hysterical. And I don't get people giving Andrew flack when he said that he saw Philip on The Biggest Loser. I thought 'The Biggest Loser' immediately for Philip. Why the fuck did he get flack (mostly from David in the next episode) for being honest in his answer? David said some shit about keeping your opinions to yourself if they would hurt someone else.... That's a bunch of bullshit. Putting aside that Andrew was just being honest when he was answering a question in a forum where he is paid to answer questions that AJ asks him, David's objection with Andrew's answer insinuates that David feels as if it's an insult for a person to be on a reality show where they promote a healthy lifestyle and teach the participants to exercise and eat more healthily. Andrew never said that Philip is a fat pig who needs to lose 100 lbs. immediately. He just said that if he had to choose a reality show that he could see Philip on, it would be The Biggest Loser. What the fuck is wrong with that? It's not as if he said he could see Philip on 'My big, fat, obnoxious fiance' or 'The swan'. Jonathan (both Black Jonathan and White Jonathan) seemed to support Andrew. The other people need to calm the fuck down. They can disagree. But Andrew simply gave his opinion; something he is paid to do.

My favorite five are Jake, JP, White Jonathan (he's not cute but I like him on the panel), Dean and Juan. Gerry is OK-- sure as hell not to look at but he's OK on the panel. I would fuck Jake, JP, Dean, Ish and Matt Barker. I don't like Alex (one of the new guys this season), the firecrotch from last season (forget his name), Ian (who is cute but not nearly as hot as he thinks he is), or Philip. Matt Barker is cute to fuck but he is a fucking liar. (Yeah; his boyfriend was not 'out,' so he dated both Matt and Matt's sister.... and, if that's not unbelievable enough, Matt never asked the guy if he was also fucking his sister?) And Yerxa's beard annoys the fuck out of me. And AJ is hot for a chick. If I liked chicks, I'd want to stick it in her.

I think the problem with Andrew is not so much what he says but how he says it. I have no problem with his honesty but too often he comes off sounding bitchy and that could be a turn off for some viewers. I mean there's a way at saying the truth without coming off unintentionally mean-spirited.

I'm not the biggest fan of Yerxa. Somehow he rugs me the wrong way. I have no problem him being opinionated and having strong faith in his opinions. I think we all should. But he gives off this impression that his opinions is always the RIGHT opinion and if anyone disagree with him then they're automatically wrong. That's arrogance to me and I can't stand arrogance. And I don't like it when he and Dean are on the same show together. Because eventually they'd start playing tag-team. I can barely stomach Dean alone but he only seems to get worst when around Yerxa.

I like JP. He's weird sometimes but always in a funny and endearing way. And you could tell he has a brain in his head.

Matt does lie alot or at the very least exaggerate the truth. But there's such an innocence about him - at his desire at being included and accepted by the others - that I find touching. He's not the brightest of the group but he's cute as a bug. LOL.

I ADORE Jake!! Sweet, kind hearted and lovable...not to mention gorgeous!! And I love the fact that Aliya-Jasmine has such a hard-on for him. She's like a puppy dog around him. LOL. It's so cute. But more importantly Jake has something that I simply treasure in people: plain, common sense. He speaks straight from the heart and he's sincere about it. Of all the guys he gives all the impression of being the most mature and you tell the other guys really respects him for it.

I don't have any problems with the other guys. They all have their pros and their cons but overall they make up a good mix for conversation.

I cannot stand Yerxa, or Dean. Them together, is the WORST. Like people have been saying, they gang up on others if they don't agree with their opinion. I absolutely HATE that.

I think Matt Barker lies/exaggerates what he says the majority of the time. But, I find him kind of sexy. He looks so innocent, but I still find him sexier than 95% of the guys on the show. But Matt said he had a big cock, but judging from those pics, the jury is still out.

The sexiest guys on the show in my opinion is Matt B., Jake, Ian, and David (maybe JP).

i've watched em all so far i think (may have missed 1 or 2) and i mostly like all the guys in different ways.

there's a couple people i'm not a huge fan of, like Andrew, but whatever. (andrew is pretty hot tho) and yeah, Matt Barker does come off like bullshitter. but i know a lot of bullshitters, so, whatever. i like matt regardless.

Juan, (SOOO funny, and cool, maybe my favorite person on the show) Jonathan (the blonde one), and Ish, (bonerific) are probably my faves. i like JP too... and Gerry and Yerxa... lol.... they're fucking hilarious when they're together. their personalities are so completely different that it's always such a ridiculous show. especially that one where yerxa couldn't even get a word in cause Gerry wouldn't stfu lol.

as for the stereotype thing.... they even talked about it on the show once, one of them (david?) said that even the show perpetuates stereotypes, and that you can't care about that garbage, to just be yourself, and if you're fitting into a stereotype, well who cares?

That said, I don't believe a lot of the guys fit the 'typical gay' stereotype >>> Yerxa, JP, David, Ian, i don't really think fit the stereotype at all. Sure, Jonathan and Gerry 'gay' up the place pretty good lol, but whatever, they seem to be genuinely happy with who they are, and who are we to question that? i think guys like jonathan, who are fairly effeminate, do it with a lot of class and charisma, and honestly, watching some of them really has helped me embrace a bit more of a feminine side of myself that i've suppressed when i was closeted.

i think it's a really positive thing to see, yes maybe a stereotype, but a stereotype that's really cool, comfortable with themselves, not annoying as fuck, (hollywood movie portrayels anyone?) and actually really intelligent and thoughtful. i think it's a good thing to show some of us that it's ok to be who you really are, whether that be the gay stereotype or not.

but that's just my opinion. love this show.

well, not every gay or bi guy has to like it, or the cast, but i definitely do, and i'll try to defend it if i think the criticisms are unfounded.

that said, certain cast members DO perpetuate stereotypes, but that doesn't necesarily mean that they aren't being genuine in who they are.

as for them being annoying, well, that's personal opinion, to each their own

Not to bring up old threads , but I'm new here and recently discovered the show on Xfinity. Its cheap entertainment that perpetuates nauseating gay stereotypes. Are we as a culture (on our own network ) not able to show the world that gays have more substance than "giggling school girl"s? Not to mention the straight girl being "bad" or slumming it to ask such ridiculous questions? Really. I guess it has its place and I don't hate it but think its just about as close to watching the Jersey Shore kids and all that other reality tv muck . When will this trend end. PS: I saw that David dude he is attractive even with the nose what did it look like before?
