Singapore is a small place, but ethnically diverse, with large populations of ethnic Malay, Chinese, Indians and others. The religious affiliations of these people are variously Muslims, Christians, Hindus and others. The passing of laws to punish people who incited on ethnic or religious lines is a wise move, IMO. Singapore being surrounded mostly by Muslim dominant countries like Indonesia and Malaysia would suffer invasion to quell any violence along those ethnosectarian lines. Also, having declared independence, it was a poor new nation without an army, navy, or airforce. It relied on the British to begin with with its rather small force for protection. The fear of invasion led to it developing legalistic and military means to fulfil the demand for order.
Amos Yee has several grievances based upon the background of his country, Singapore, and it's leaders. LKY's handling of Singapore is indeed that of a dictator, however 'benevolent' that might be to have lifted the country from backwater to economic powerhouse. The suppression of free speech, and active open opposition to his political reforms is a legitimate point.
However, Yee in the video is not only obnoxious, he does it with a child's arrogant assumption that he can say what he pleases now Lee KuanYew is dead. He's gone about it in the wrong way, and the rant which strayed into the religious snags on the anti-incitement laws that protects religious feeling in Singapore. Since the law is active, and he has breached it, he's going down for sure.
1. Young people feel the need to use obnoxious words when they're speaking mostly to the peers they have. For Yee, it's his youtube and blogging fanbase.

Sucking on LKY 'oblong corpse dick' by the so called necrophillic sycophants is his way of saying it was bugging him that tv program schedules after the death of his dear president was so full of the fawning. I know when Princess Diana died, it was terrible that normal tv scheduling was so full of the programs about her life, the marriage breakup and the demonising of Charle's lover, cum wife now.
Anyway, I sure hope this tiresome rehash of the life and woes of an obnoxious loudmouth brat can stop. So free speech isn't as free as it ought to be. T'was ever thus. And if it ever was totally free, more loud mouth shitbaggery would be ranting on and on, me included.
