London now has to get back to normal. It was a great Olympics, and to be there was extra special.

I will say NBC can go fuck right off for their deplorable coverage of this Olympics. I would much rather see it go back to ABC for Sochi.

Unfortunately for the US, NBC have also been awarded the rights for Rio2016 - at least there shouldn't be a time lag!

Unfortunately for the US, NBC have also been awarded the rights for Rio2016 - at least there shouldn't be a time lag!

But they can still record it, edit out all the boring stuff to make space for commercials, and broadcast it in primetime.

They only showed it on the "Politically correct" TV station here. The host was asking the audience to cry so much I didn't watch.

^ It doesn't sound like I could have watched it either. Under what pretense think that the audience should cry? Was it because of the beauty of what the athletes were achieving (which can, indeed, justify some tears), or was the host pulling out and using the pity card? Please don't tell me that it was the latter.

^ I saw it as the latter.

The hosts kept on saying it was 'INSPIRING' every 3 minutes. They kept using the word so often I asked myself what does 'inspiring' mean. I thought 'inspiring' meant when someone inspired someone else to do something.

This broadcast inspired people to sit in their armchairs and have a little weep.

I am glad - the UK does not need beefing up. I want the pound to FALL. The Euro will now get stronger!
