Hello all! Been a long-time lurker and decided to just jump on the boat already. I'm 19 years old, Asian, from L.A., into art, and quite shy. I'm single, and not out yet, either. So I'm new to dating in a sense. But I'd love to start a steady, romantic, online relationship with someone (from Britain). I know that sounds absolutely pointless and random, but seeing as how it's one way for me to start stepping out (though not physically) and becoming more comfortable with myself, I don't see why not. And I fancy Brits. This is so embarrassing to type out lol. Anyway, I hope I can start chatting with people, and no, you don't have to be British. But I'd like to meet someone from far away and be friends, ect., or more. And that way, things could be kept more secretive if there was some distance for a while, as mean as that sounds. I don't have a web cam yet, been planning to get one, so old school chatting will have to due for now.

Don't mind the title too much, I was just being naive and silly.

So yeah, I think this forum would be a great place to meet friends online for me, if not the best. So I hope I didn't scare everyone away since this isn't the normal cam invite or hook-up, or even a normal online relationship!
