Longing for Christmas to arrive

I loved Christmas day as child but I find it hard to actually find a reason to wake up on that day as an adult. No, I don't mean that, this year i'm actually not having a negative thought about it until the christmas songs start getting played every God damned shop I walk by. The part of that time of the year I hate the most is the realisation that a new year is around the corner and I've barely got to grips with the one that's slipping away.

I saw the first x-mas commercial last week. Goddamn it, don't start the madness until at least DECEMBER! Sigh.

I want Christmas to go by fast as possible, its the most depressing holiday of the year.

For three months I have been making my Christmas list and and getting ready to send a mass E-mail to all the jubber's...
Is it too early to push "send"?

Can I just say what a comfort it has been to realise I am not the only one who feels so negatively about (the way we celebrate/ the way we are expected to behave at?) Christmas.
Thanks again!

Why? Inever give shit aobut Christman, lo.1 Sriosuly I dint veen ask for prsesnt until MAy this year! Lol I jus dont give ashit about holidays anymore, they birng nothing but sadness in remembrance for the guy I lost... :(

My mom died on Christmas day several years ago and it's tough. On the one hand you are expected to be holly jolly and on the other hand, the constant reminder that your mom died on that day is hard to deal with sometimes. I have always loved Christmas, but for that reason it is hard for me. I just want Dec 25 to come and go.
