Let's bitchslap some of them, especially the one with the cam :jab:

More misbehaving kids:

i hate people like that so much.....

i'm in college and there are still people in my classes who will disrupt the classes like that...

it makes me soooo angry....... imma hit a bitch

^^^In college and still acting like this? Jeez! Do they have some development retardation or something?

Being a teacher is really tough, that's for sure. I've witnessed and did some things myself...nothing all that extreme but still. It's normal for kids to interrupt but it's still tough sometimes.

Teacher is hard especially when parents really don't do their job, what's really messed up in these videos are the students who aren't even doing anything and are just sitting there watching it go down.

I'm all for a policy where, if I even *see* a cell phone in my classroom, it's mine for a month and I can do with it whatever I want. And no, they can't take out their SIM-card. I've got a few friends aborad wh's love to get a long call from me.

Wishful thinking, of course, but still...

I'm in an arts program.. theres lots of stoners and jack asses

Loved that black teacher - you give it to him!!

I was definitely one of those kids in school. :(
Luckily i grew out of it though

Paws were you a perfect student? Did you follow all the rules?
No. Yes (hey, if you're the gay nerd who gets picked on, you can't allow yourself to break the rules).

Haha. I went to art school for one year too (we have an obligatory art prep course here). I thought I would find like-minded people there, but my class was full of jocks, hip-hop guys, womanizers and other gay-"hating" guys that were snotty and kept on arguing with teachers.

Seems times have changed at art schools and it's not just for artfags there anymore.

good idea, the teacher has the power to make rules in his class.
No phones, no electronic gadgets which are not useful in his class.

That's basiclly a carbon-copy of every class I had in school, so I don't find that all that shocking. It's the unfortunate catch 22 with education, aye, corpol punishment is wrong, but there's no other way to disciplin the wee pricks.

....Some people's kids.....

In my experience, yelling and threats simply cause the behaviors to increase.

I've become a Jewish (no offense to anyone) mother to my students... I guilt and shame the kids into the proper behaviors!!!!!

Honestly tho', you're gonna have good and bad kids in any school. Unfortunately, the US Public Education system has to accept any and every child... My district is finally growing a set of balls and listening to teacher concerns about student behavior and progress.

mikey

Of course I know nothing about any of these situations or schools, but I'm a teacher and I agree with the post about the teachers yelling. I learned very early it's a no win situation if you start screaming like that. It's a show for the rest of the class and nothing is accomplished. No matter what a kid is doing I could never imagine myself screaming at a class like that.
