i dont look any different. i went from 227 to 217 in a month in a half. i FEEL better. but i dont look better. I look the same. ive been lifting and swiming laps and everything and i look just as fat as my before picture! whats going on? maybe its in my head? what am i doing wrong?

It takes a while just keep doing what you are doing and you'll start to see results--it took 30 pounds before I noticed any real change---of course I was huge.

Yes, patience. I recently told a friend, it took six months of training before I really noticed a difference. It's there, but it takes time to notice. Patience and persistance.

Going from 227 to 217 in 6 weeks is an accomplishment- good for you!

You're where a lot of people find themselves at about 2 months- where the weight loss isn't dramatic and they are frustrated. The way that you are losing weight is both healthy and safe- you're actually gaining weight in your muscles while you lose fat.

What might help you at this point is to take measurements of your arms, chest, waist, butt and legs. This is a better means to assess weight loss than the scale. Your waist and butt is where you will see the biggest change and this will be apparent with the tape measure long before you see it on the scale or in the mirror.

yeah thats a good point..i actually do fit my pants better so thats a lifter...but these damn boobs ive find myself in...ahhh the days when i used to be sexy...lol

yeah, as long as you feel better, that's deinitely important. i stopped training for a few months, then spent a week away doing much more than i was used to. i felt much better after, lost about 5 lbs., but look pretty much exactly the same. i feel better though, so i'm happy. but yeah, keep going. it'll come in time.

10 pounds out of 227 is just 4.4 percent of your former body weight. You will surely notice it when you reach 10 percent.
